Great video, love seeing London. 20mph is criminal. The Ragged Apron looks superb, their food is off the Charts, especially for the prices they charge. Hope Sharon gets her car. Just saying I have only ever owned 1 black car in my life and I had never been pulled over by Police. Whilst owning my black car on the Isle of Wight I was pulled over 3 times by the police. I got rid of the car after about 5 months 😁

The deepest tube line Sharon, is Hampstead station on the Northern Line - 320 steps down. As a Londoner can I say how refreshing it is to see a blog that doesn't run down this city that I love. I know it has it's problems but for me it's a wonderful place. I've never felt unsafe in all the years that I've lived here. One of the best things is that if you're over 60 you get a freedom pass that gives you free travel on all of London's tubes, buses and overground networks. I've really given up using my car to get around London since retiring.
Wow, I used to live just off Kensington high street, things look somehow familiar but obviously some changes, hope you enjoyed your trip!
The Natural history museum is still free .

Sharon, whatever the reason, you weren't meant to have that particular vehicle so there will be a better one out there somewhere!! Chin up and keep on looking. I would have liked to have visited London but I really couldn't cope with the naff train situation and the packed tube.
Lovely vlog. The rent and everything else around that part of London is so high, it’s really expensive to eat out. If prices are too high, take a packed lunch and find a park nearby to eat in. Used to love that!

Apart from a Porsche Boxster, my favourite car was my xtrail I’ve had 3 altogether over the years, unfortunately I am not allowed to drive anymore due to a bad back. Loved Rick Astley, we saw him a few years ago when he was the warm up for TakeThat, he was brilliant. Love to you both x

Always enjoy travelling with you, My oldest Grandson did 4 years at Imperial which is in Kensington, after the 1st year in halls he moved back home and travelled each day, half hour journey as my daughter lives in Fulham and my youngest Son worked his gap year at the Natural History museum, when I house and cat sat for my daughters holidays, I went in all the museums there and they were free, also in the NHM they have 2 cafe`s, one is dear and one is reasonable, if you venture that way again I believe they are still free, wow, your children are either the spit of Sharon or you Martin.Looking forward to seeing the wedding.
If I knew you was in London, I would haved loved to buy both a drink for no nonsense content.

We visited the ragged apron yesterday (sunday) all the way from the Black Country .. sadly they finished serving Sunday dinner but we have a cup of tea and a scone in a village tea room then mooched on over to Mablethorp and had a carvery in the Beck .. lovely day we had thank you for all the recommendations xx

My Lynne had her car written of before Christmas by a kid on his phone driving into the back of her C-max whilst ferrying two disabled clients to a party. Insurers were useless even with dash cam evidence. Buying another affordable motor was a nightmare. Expensive high mileage tatty cars for the most. Wet belt timing belts cars are best avoided, there's so many of them now. Finally got another nice clean low milage C-max in the end but we had to make compromises to get anything. We blame EVs.

I got rid of a black car the problem with black it shows every speck of dust especially after rain nice when clean but don’t last long as you will find out will be washing it often

Hi Sharon and Martin. Did you realise you can use your bank card or 'wallet' app to tap in and out of the underground? It's no cheaper to use an oyster card plus you're charged £7 to buy one. Oyster cards are better suited to people who use the underground on a regular basis - you don't save anything by using one and you need to keep them topped up.
