I have to admit I was pretty blind to the magnitude in which Palestinians are being oppressed by Israel and this documentary was extremely eye opening to me. I do however think that neither Israelis or Palestinians will give in and leave this land and hope and pray that somehow these people can live together in peace one day and Israeli Jewish people can see it in their hearts what “their” government is doing to Palestinians. If they are so religious they should see we are all humans and no one who in which is innocent deserves to live in these conditions. Palestinian land is being exploited and used to only benefit these “sterile” Jewish communities and its kind of sickening that these Jewish “settlers” allow this to happen right in their faces. I don’t condone what HAMAS has done and is doing but punishing the majority of Palestinians for the actions of few is absurd and inhumane. Hamas' attack on Israel has been a long time coming. Oppression of Palestinians reached a breaking point. Over the last several decades, the world has failed Palestinians via a lack of enforcement of United Nations resolutions and Americans' foreign policy of blind (military) support of Israel no matter what its actions are. I doubt a single state solution will work - not acceptable from the get go from either side. A two state solution will depend on a just apportioning of land and water resources so that there are no enclaves or exclaves (probably imposed and enforced by an international peacekeeping force), and (probably enforced) relocation of Israeli settlers off land designated to a new Palestine. Palestinians "left in the lurch" would have to be compensated financially and maybe with landed immigrant status elsewhere in the world. USA, UK, Australia, EU and Canada have to get on board with figuring out what a feasible, just, two state solution will look like and give "straight talk and persuasion" to AIPAC, Netanyahu and other hard line pro-Israel groups.

The Palestinians in the west bank suffer from occupation NOT apartheid. (I am not talking about Gaza because the only one to blame about the tragedy there is Hamas). The Palestinians can move freely inside their territories. Thousands of Palestinians go to work in Israel DAILY!!!!! I guess they "forgot" to show you that.... Some Palestinians even drive their cars through check points to work in Israel.
There is much missing from this video. In Africa you didn't have black children dressed with explosives around their waists and blowing themselves up in crowded market places full of white people or on buses full of white children. In Israel the Israelis have to deal with Muslim Arabs blowing themselves up on buses and in restaurants. You have Arab employees taking out knifes and killing their employers. You have women taking out knives and stabbing Israelis in the street or Arabs ramming their cars into crowds queueing at a bus stop. Israel has made a wall around the Wests Bank to stop these terrorist attacks and they have to inspect Arab workers coming over into Israel. So it looks like Apartheid but you suggest a better solution. I'm against revenge attack taken by Israelis but I understand them. Muslim Arabs living in Israel proper are not treated any different to Israelis. There are Arab Muslim MKs (member of Knesset) There are Arab lawyers and doctors etc and even Muslim Arabs in the IDF. They are equal citizens. This is not an Apartheid it is a way of dealing with those who are trying to destroy you and do not recognise your right to exist. The Hamas charter calls for the destruction of Jews in Israel and in fact it states that all Jews over the world should be killed. Look it up. Make sure you read the old Charter as i think they may have changed it slightly. If you want to go into the history of how this all began then i can recommend some books written by non-Jews.

Hamas declaring war on Israel, firing 25,000 rockets and mortars at it since 2005, or such things as Palestinian suicide bombings which murdered 805 Israelis from 1993-2007, or the Knife Intifada whereby Palestinians went rampaging in Israeli cities stabbing and ramming cars into civilians, Israeli security measures become justified. There were final status peace talks held in 2000 at the Camp David Summit, whereby a Palestinian state was to be created, Arafat rejected the peace plan, and started the second intifada which killed thousands. I think you need to check a couple of facts that firstly the palestinians are a mixed race with jewish blood, that gaza was given to them after egypt surrended it during a conflict, why has egypt never want to take it back or govern it? The same with the west bank, land conquered by israel when attacked by Jordan. They are also not interested in taking it back! Palestine was first known as Judah, inhabited by the hebrews, long before any palestinian existed. It was renamed by the Roman occupiers to Palestine to oppress and divide the jews in fear of a jewish uprising against the roman rulers and occupiers! There was a time that i was gonna convert to Judaism so I could join that program where you could serve in the Israeli Defense Force after i finished my time as an Airman plus I raised money for wounded IDF Soldiers thats how much I believed in them. Then one day i came across a video of Israeli settlers in the West Bank throwing rocks at little girls walking to school. The Soldier's that were supposed to be protecting them just stood there and watched. I never felt more ashamed of myself it shook up my entire world view.

Know a Christian woman who went to Jerusalem to visit the holy places of her faith, sympathetic towards the Jews of Israel. I wish I could say I didnt know about it but I have for many many years. The reality is that because of the sickening double standards applied to Jews in Israel it has gone largely uncontested. We should be cutting off Israel's access to all weapons, all dual use tech, any supplies which can be used to build more prison walls & sanction them into the ground. Israel has to be punished and given the length of time it has been going on those punishments followed by reparations should be so harsh that no country ever thinks of going this route. This doesnt mean like many Jews will proclaim you are calling for their eradication you would just be calling for Palestinians to be treated as humans and not cattle. You don't take new jersey, split it by thirds, give new jersey 2/3 and then split the remaining 1/3 in half and call that a new state, especially when that remaining half is divided by the prior state in two. I saw a documentary about an Israeli man who had a big swimming pool & just a mile or so down the river another man, a Palestinian, barely had enough water to drink. It was/is absurd. That man was so proud of his pool😮

In Germany, we are made to believe that there is no wrong-doing on the Israelis' side and that the only side to stand on is their side. Why is Israel getting away with breaking international laws? Some of these Jewish Israelis settlers are absolutely disgusting and inhumane. As a half Palestinian living in Jordan , i was in a very dark mood when i stumbled on this documentary after i spent some time watching the atrocity's and crimes the Israeli inflected in Gaza people in this day, i was crying for a full hour and i really tried to stop the tears but i couldn't , it was like fighting a waterfall current, its very hard to resist after watching Gaza people saying goodbye to their small sons and daughters , then a dark thought crept in my mind. I was asking myself why is the west doing this to us , they want to dehumanize Palestinians and kill them like beasts by supporting Israel unconditionally, then the darker thoughts appeared ( they want us to be beasts why shouldn't we become the beasts they fantasied about to bite tear and scratch), then i stumbled on this documentary it lifted my spirits and reminded me that the world has not forgotten the Palestinians and many from the west fighting to educate the world about the Palestinian suffering , so thank you Journeyman pictures. It’s absolutely human. I’m a bosniak and I was born in the Bosnian war in Croatia (where my family fled to). My family didn’t talk much about the war and since I was only 5 days old when I got to Germany so I obviously didn’t remember. I watched documentaries about the Bosnian war and believe me I had the same if not even worse thoughts creeping up in my head. I let these thoughts be thought til the end. I am then very shocked by my own capacity to impose harm to others (at least in my thoughts). Because if I let my fantasies play out in my head I can see the very thing I never wanna be no matter what life or the world throws at me. I know I can be evil as evil as you’d never make me out to be. I have that capacity, you have it, everyone does. But I also know that my mother raised me with nothing but love and kindness and that that is the one thing no one will ever take away from me. It’s hard to forgive and impossible to forget what happened to my people, my family, friends. But I also understand that dwelling on the past can never be a basis for a brighter future. I hope you, your family, friends and the Palestinian people can one day live a peaceful life without dehumanization, fear nor oppression. I hope you can all prosper without the need for Apartheid or violence of any kind.
I can sympathise, it happened to my ancestors and our ancestral lands. My ancestor Pierce Ferriter led the Irish resistance, they managed to overturn British rule for over a decade in the 1600s and take back one of our castles which had become a Military base for the Brits. My family was known for being defenders of our lands until the British defeated, stole and occupied our lands. It's like a vicious cycle! The Romans did it to the British people and the British did it to others and I'm sure it would have happened to the Romans at one point in time. I pray for world peace but the reality says to me that humans don't seem to have that capability as we're a greedy and territorial species as all species are I presume. We have to start with the education and mixing of humans in early childhood and to not engage in indoctrination for either side. It's difficult to let go of the atrocities of the past but in order to thrive as a species we need to find ways to make the entire world abundant. Easier said than done, it needs to be a joint effort but a very complicated and complexed situation as most humans have a false perception of reality in their minds because of the ideologies put into their heads by those who came before. And the world is run by the psychopathic individuals who profit from our ignorance and compliance, most poor countries are abundant but the powers that run it keep it all for themselves and there's always a struggle for dominance once one group gets a taste of power even if at first they start off with good intentions, power intoxicates a person which leads to even more oppression and dominance. There is a world government that rules over all others and there's a hierarchy that all vountries engage with. The elites of all countries dominate all of the lives of their people. (My ancestors were no exception as they collected taxes and ruled over the military of their day. ) However, I'm throwing in curve ball by offering something that I think is an even greater threat. If A.I goes AWOL and decides to take over the world, humans will have no choice but to work together for the survival of our species and it won't matter where any of us come from, what race we are and what lands we think we own and occupy as the machines will be able to instrument our own demise by fuelling the volatile fires and dictate the rule of the planet. If you let something that is a billion times more intelligent than a human being and works collectively and doesn't have the same survival needs of that of a living species loose without having a complete understanding what it is doing and a complete understanding of the nature of what it actually is and even worse create it in the the image of man ( more that of a vold pyschopath) then the truth is that our species doesn't stand a chance and all this will be nothing in comparison with what's to come in the future. I have to admit I was pretty blind to the magnitude in which Palestinians are being oppressed by Israel and this documentary was extremely eye opening to me. I do however think that neither Israelis or Palestinians will give in and leave this land and hope and pray that somehow these people can live together in peace one day and Israeli Jewish people can see it in their hearts what “their” government is doing to Palestinians. If they are so religious they should see we are all humans and no one who in which is innocent deserves to live in these conditions. Palestinian land is being exploited and used to only benefit these “sterile” Jewish communities and its kind of sickening that these Jewish “settlers” allow this to happen right in their faces. Hamas' attack on Israel has been a long time coming. Oppression of Palestinians reached a breaking point. Over the last several decades, the world has failed Palestinians via a lack of enforcement of United Nations resolutions and Americans' foreign policy of blind (military) support of Israel no matter what its actions are.
I doubt a single state solution will work - not acceptable from the get go from either side.
A two state solution will depend on a just apportioning of land and water resources so that there are no enclaves or exclaves (probably imposed and enforced by an international peacekeeping force), and (probably enforced) relocation of Israeli settlers off land designated to a new Palestine. Palestinians "left in the lurch" would have to be compensated financially and maybe with landed immigrant status elsewhere in the world. USA, UK, Australia, EU and Canada have to get on board with figuring out what a feasible, just, two state solution will look like and give "straight talk and persuasion" to AIPAC, Netanyahu and other hard line pro-Israel groups.

There is much missing from this video. In Africa you didn't have black children dressed with explosives around their waists and blowing themselves up in crowded market places full of white people or on buses full of white children. In Israel the Israelis have to deal with Muslim Arabs blowing themselves up on buses and in restaurants. You have Arab employees taking out knifes and killing their employers. You have women taking out knives and stabbing Israelis in the street or Arabs ramming their cars into crowds queueing at a bus stop. Israel has made a wall around the Wests Bank to stop these terrorist attacks and they have to inspect Arab workers coming over into Israel. So it looks like Apartheid but you suggest a better solution. I'm against revenge attack taken by Israelis but I understand them. Muslim Arabs living in Israel proper are not treated any different to Israelis. There are Arab Muslim MKs (member of Knesset) There are Arab lawyers and doctors etc and even Muslim Arabs in the IDF. The Hamas charter calls for the destruction of Jews in Israel and in fact it states that all Jews over the world should be killed. Look it up. I think you need to check a couple of facts that firstly the palestinians are a mixed race with jewish blood, that gaza was given to them after egypt surrended it during a conflict, why has egypt never want to take it back or govern it? The same with the west bank, land conquered by israel when attacked by Jordan. They are also not interested in taking it back!

There was a time that i was gonna convert to Judaism so I could join that program where you could serve in the Israeli Defense Force after i finished my time as an Airman plus I raised money for wounded IDF Soldiers thats how much I believed in them. Then one day i came across a video of Israeli settlers in the West Bank throwing rocks at little girls walking to school. The Soldier's that were supposed to be protecting them just stood there and watched. I never felt more ashamed of myself it shook up my entire world view.

You don't take new jersey, split it by thirds, give new jersey 2/3 and then split the remaining 1/3 in half and call that a new state, especially when that remaining half is divided by the prior state in two. As a half Palestinian living in Jordan , i was in a very dark mood when i stumbled on this documentary after i spent some time watching the atrocity's and crimes the Israeli inflected in Gaza people in this day, i was crying for a full hour and i really tried to stop the tears but i couldn't , it was like fighting a waterfall current, its very hard to resist after watching Gaza people saying goodbye to their small sons and daughters , then a dark thought crept in my mind.

It’s absolutely human. I’m a bosniak and I was born in the Bosnian war in Croatia (where my family fled to). My family didn’t talk much about the war and since I was only 5 days old when I got to Germany so I obviously didn’t remember. I watched documentaries about the Bosnian war and believe me I had the same if not even worse thoughts creeping up in my head. I let these thoughts be thought til the end. I am then very shocked by my own capacity to impose harm to others (at least in my thoughts). Because if I let my fantasies play out in my head I can see the very thing I never wanna be no matter what life or the world throws at me. I know I can be evil as evil as you’d never make me out to be. I have that capacity, you have it, everyone does. But I also know that my mother raised me with nothing but love and kindness and that that is the one thing no one will ever take away from me. It’s hard to forgive and impossible to forget what happened to my people, my family, friends. But I also understand that dwelling on the past can never be a basis for a brighter future.

I can sympathise, it happened to my ancestors and our ancestral lands. My ancestor Pierce Ferriter led the Irish resistance, they managed to overturn British rule for over a decade in the 1600s and take back one of our castles which had become a Military base for the Brits. Easier said than done, it needs to be a joint effort but a very complicated and complexed situation as most humans have a false perception of reality in their minds because of the ideologies put into their heads by those who came before. And the world is run by the psychopathic individuals who profit from our ignorance and compliance, most poor countries are abundant but the powers that run it keep it all for themselves and there's always a struggle for dominance once one group gets a taste of power even if at first they start off with good intentions, power intoxicates a person which leads to even more oppression and dominance. There is a world government that rules over all others and there's a hierarchy that all vountries engage with. The elites of all countries dominate all of the lives of their people. (My ancestors were no exception as they collected taxes and ruled over the military of their day. ) However, I'm throwing in curve ball by offering something that I think is an even greater threat. If A.I goes AWOL and decides to take over the world, humans will have no choice but to work together for the survival of our species and it won't matter where any of us come from, what race we are and what lands we think we own and occupy as the machines will be able to instrument our own demise by fuelling the volatile fires and dictate the rule of the planet. If you let something that is a billion times more intelligent than a human being and works collectively and doesn't have the same survival needs of that of a living species loose without having a complete understanding what it is doing and a complete understanding of the nature of what it actually is and even worse create it in the the image of man ( more that of a vold pyschopath) then the truth is that our species doesn't stand a chance and all this will be nothing in comparison with what's to come in the future. We can either choose to work collectively as a species or continue to destroy ourselves!

The film was contrasting and comparing the on the ground reality of contemporary Israel with archival footage of South African shantytowns under the apartheid regime. It should have been obvious that one side of the split screen was showing the repressive violence of the now fallen South African government while the other half of the screen was contrasting the savagery of the IDF against every Palestinian anywhere in the balkanized, impoverished, and surveiled walled ghettos of Palestine. How did you not notice the older technology and the 1980s fashion being sported by the South African fash.
