I'm watching this a little late. Glad to hear you're enjoying Yoga with Adriene. I found her last year and started off 2022 with her 30 day Move series and have continued doing daily yoga since Move finished on Jan 31. She published a calendar to keep it going with links to videos she created in the past. I'm really enjoying it as a daily thing. Hope you do too!😊
Hi Corie! It was so nice hanging out with you today, I love your vlog! So, your above the garage space, my friend has one also and it’s cost prohibitive right now for her to redo it, so she bought the foam floor mats from Home Depot and set up her gym. It’s amazing! Usable space with a redo to come later. Maybe that would work for you? I love that you have your tree up, it was so hard to take ours down this year, well for me it was. I decided to look for an inexpensive 3 or 4 ft tree that I can decorate for winter and leave up until spring. Next year! Thanks for your yoga/going to bed earlier topics, I am a night owl and really need to dial that back. We are raising our 10 month old grandson and he is not sleeping through the nite so we are exhausted! Staying up late is not helpful! I’m going to try out The yogi you mentioned, I love yoga but am so tired I’m too lazy to do it. I need to get w/a program, I turn 60 this month and need to get stronger. Lastly, we should do a house swap! I’m in Oregon so very temperate weather but I love the cold and snow! Be well! 💕

Every time when my alarm goes off in the morning, I remind myself not to negotiate with myself about hitting the snooze! LOL! You can do it!! XOXO

I know exactly how you feel with back pain. I have had 2 back surgeries over the years. I hurt my back twice, both times from lifting patients. And neither surgery helped me at all. And here while back, had to go back to the doctor. He said that after 2 surgeries already, that I would not benefit from another surgery. So I just try to deal with the pain, the best I can. Hopefully the yoga continues to help you. Cause it’s such a struggle each day for me. I don’t know what hurts worse. My back or the fibromyalgia I have. Stay healthy!
Weight to back issues have been mine for a long time. I was stopped at a light when a man hit me from behind going 50 miles per hour. It took my back two years to heal. Now that I’m 75 it comes back with a vengeance anytime I do any work. I know how frustrating it is. Currently I’m trying to recover from vacuuming. I ended up in ER. My daughter took me at 3 a m. and got covid from a family there that had it. So I’m walking with walker and trying to recover. Keep up the exercise. Rehab is only way my pain goes away. I’m praying for you.

Hello again from New Jersey! This snow and cold has been a bit much this year. I usually love winter,but not this year. I totally understand how you feel when you were saying to are to young to feel the way you do. I just turned 52 and feel like I am too young to be feeling so old. I had a stroke last year that left me completely blind in one eye,so I have to move a lot slower so I don't hurt myself. Lol. Not moving as much has caused me to gain weight too. I do still try and push forward and do crafts and whatever I can do. I really enjoy your videos and blogs. Keep doing what you do cause you always brighten my day.

Good for you Corie I love Yoga but have been a couch potatoe since the Pandemic started!🙁. I can’t get going! I have low back problems and I was also big busted. I had a reduction done and it helped the pain a lot! Love from NB Canada. Ps it’s been in the -20s Celsius here last week and we have lots of snow Brr. I hate the cold too. Stay well!

Hi Corie, great live you will love yoga even more once you get regular, its one of those things you'll find the more you do the better you will get and the better you will feel, I have some serious issues with my back and waiting on surgery and no neurologist told mec that yoga was a very helpful thing to do and honestly when I miss a week or even a few days of doing it all thevpwin comes back bad and my mobility gets worse, im so glad your doing it another great thing is "body balance"t's also reslly good for strengthening core,muscles and mobility , can't believe your turning 50 you definitely dont look it , thanks for sharing take care all the best mary in Australia ⚘😊

I have 3 autoimmune diseases that each cause chronic pain so despite the fact that I’m 47, I have days where I can barely move. I have definitely gotten way out of shape from that and need to strengthen my muscles. I wonder if yoga would help…hmm, I’ll have to give it a shot. Do not feel bad about your tree because mine is still up too! 🤣 I am determined to get it down before Valentine’s Day lol! Hope you have a blessed week! 💗

I have a great little exercise for you to loosen up your back before getting out of bed. Lay on your back and pull both knees up and into your chest, hugging them with your arms. Rock gently from side to side for about a minute. This helps me immensely as I suffer from lower back pain as well, and am so stiff when I first wake up. 🤗🥰

I usually try to keep up on those. If I don't do them for a week I can tell the difference. So ya, it's important to stregthen those muscles as we get older. 🤔 Here in central Illinois, we are having a heat wave. Meaning it's in the 30s. LOL I'm in a T-shirt. WHOOHOO! Good for you dear. I use to do yoga, I have Degenerative disease in all my disc so I can barely get out of bed and in bad pain daily and hourly but I am 65.
I bet decorating your bonus room would be a lot less expensive to do than back surgery. 17 years ago l had back surgery was in the hospital 9 weeks and that cost my insurance 1 1/2 million dollars. And have had a lot of more problems since the surgery. So l think l would get that bonus room done and enjoy your machine that helps your back.

Unfortunately I have severe osteo-arthritis in my knees and can't do yoga because I am unable to get up off the floor. :(
