1st stage separation doesn't occur like that on Soyuz, side boosters have to detach and swing backwards like orchid leaves.. But still, loved the video komrad! edit: For a brief moment, I thought that it was Bûran, but it's Atlantis 7:40

I used mods to make it realistic. The stock parts are tuned for the kerbal system, which is 2.5x smaller. You need to get some mods like Tantares or Bluedog Design Bureau to have historical and appropriately tuned launch vehicles. Use S.O.C.K. for the Shuttle and reDIRECT for the boosters and tank.
Inaccuracies: Kvant-2 did not dock directly to their last resting places. it docked at the front docking port of the core module and used the Lyappa arm to dock to their final places.
I was lost, I had mastered KSP, I tried RSS RO, but I got destroyed by its hardness(and radiation). I tried JNSQ, but it was glitchy and the game was looking ugly for some reason. And then, with minor hope, I found this, a kerbalized realistic Solar system, isn't it awesome. Thanks to this mod I'm back into playing KSP.
It's the same story with me, now Ksrss reborn features the same 64k textures once used by rve64k. Also parallax is now fully integrated, it looks gorgeous with ballisticfox' lukewarm EX Tufx profile!
I have some extra information and questions Will you ever do the planned/concept mission where Buran replaces the core module and returns the old one to Earth? And also I believe the 3rd solar panel was installed in orbit by Cosmonauts on EVA and not launched with the station
Ksrss in my opinion is far better than RSS and RP-1. My reason is that Ksrss still feels kerbalish and not too hard. Rp-1 feels like a chore, you have to check for everything radiation, life support, and enough fuel. And the fact that in both RSS and Rp-1 You need 8k to get into orbit because everything IS REAL SCALE! I mean like kerbal space program was supposed to be fun! Not to mention that the radiation basically makes it impossible for manned missions to mars for example. And RSS you have to build skyscraper-tall Rockets to get things into orbit and then you have to worry if there is too much weight and it's just annoying. To all the people who play Rp-1 And RSS, Good job you are an absolute legend and I support you. Ksrss still gives the kerbal experience but gives a more realistic touch to a game we love.
Fax, exactly the reasons I switched from RSS/RO to KSRSS. KSRSS Reborn just dropped, with a 2.7x rescale, Perfect for BDB and Tantares. Also it features a Parallax 2.0 integration. It makes the Game beautiful, EVE Redux will soon get updated(true volumetric clouds), brace yourself for the best KSP visuals you have ever seen!

All in all KSRSS(VE) feels like a completed project, less bugs, better performance and actual gameplay fun (didn't have that for a while). I saw every minute I sat in front of the Vab in RSS/RO as a wasted one, since my productivity equaled 0. It was just a frustrating experience filled with bugs, glitches and sometimes unbeareble single digit framerates. Videos recorded at that framerate won't be pleasing to watch and will just frustrate me and the viewer. This isn't a RO rant, I still think its the best realidm oriented mod out there, its the quality of life that matters for me the most. (And 30 min. loading time because Katnisses part pack despite nvme ssd is just not good. Found a great community mod that fixes bugs and improves loading times, called "Ksp community fixes". Sorry for bad spelling/grammar, I'm writing on my phone, I haven't got that much free time.
You have to install ksrss from the new reborn branch, read about it on the forums because this ksrss is not compatible with the last version of ksp. I‘m myself waiting for KSP2 to get good (or eve redux volumetrics to release for free). It’s just a spit in the face from intercept to request 50 dollars earned through putting in the work for some unoptimized garbage

Could you make a tutorial on how to install KSRSS because i cant get it to work. Every time i start the game its just frozen on a black screen.
