Gordon Ramsey uses ceramic in his restaurants due to its high resistance to heat. Ceramic also cools down very quickly due to its ability to dissipate heat equally.

I've cooked tons of stuff in Pyrex dishes, they are good for 450 deg.( I just looked that up) but I just found out Pyrex makes two different lines of dished now, there's the traditional stuff you can do anything with, and now there is a cheaper line that you have to be more careful with it. That's probably what that was, or some Pyrex knock off.
It could be cold because I am from California but I remember when I lived in Idaho for a short period I would wear a jacket inside because sure we had the heater but we had to be careful because we didn't want to raise the bill to high and when their we're the days the temperature drop below 10 degrees I would wear my leather jacket, scarf and pants indoors just to keep warm...

They were in maybe a minute and 10 seconds and nearly turned inside out but man those were the best hot dogs ive ha in a while
Sorry steelo but ya wrong. You can most Def cook with glass. That's why they make glass cookware. That oven w the brownies was prob a chipped pan or just shit product.

I'm glad someone said this. You can pull a hot glass dish out and set it on a cool wet surface like they did.
