Thank you for the wonderful review, Hermes is my favorite designer perfume house. It's always a pleasure listening of your tailored descriptions of new releases.
Uh, as much as I like the direction Hermes is going for here, it's a no for me. I like the modern approach Hermes is leaning into. This does remind me of the modernity of H24 in structure, but once I could smell the Akigalawood, that's all I could think of (and smell). It seems that it is even dosed very lightly, but it a big aroma chemical. Of course, every time I smell Akigalawood, I think of Bisch and that makes me think of Ganymede and Guidance. I know it's a me thing, but I just can't do it. BUT, for those that enjoy that style, I think it's very well constructed.
Yes, it's ultra modern, shiny, glossy take on a chypre. I also have my tolerance level with Akigalawood. Here it doesn't bother me. Ganymede is the max I can go. Bisch's work at Amouage and Crivelli just have too much of it... that it feels suffocating.
Thanks SJ 🫂 i almost spit my drink when I sat at a Café and looked at the A word in the sample 😅. Thankfully its rightly dosed. Please let us know what you think. Have a great Sunday!
Oooh nice one. I am interested to try it soon. Oakwood is listed in the notes. It's an interesting material that often goes missing in a lot of wasted compositions. I love it as a material. Smells like a sherry cask used for whiskey maturation.
Interesting info about the oakwood. I was getting a Champagne cork like smell for sometime lol. This comes across soft and not too sweet, so the delicate woodiness shows
I am looking forward to smelling it!
Yes, please dew!

Nearly fainted when you said the "A" word 😮
I was surprised to see it in the sample too😅 Quite a Cliffhanger now
What frags where he saying that this can’t compare too cuir d”ange quierllo? New here lol
Galop, Violette Volynka, Cuir d'Ange, Kelly Caleche and Paddock are the others I mentioned. Cheers!
Hmm...doesn't sound particularly exciting...but it sounds solid I guess. I was hoping for a budget friendly Cuir d'Ange.
Yea, It's better to have expectations in check with this one I guess. It's a designer release under a leather's name but really not much leather
Awesome-this was super informative. Looking forward to trying it!
Glad it was useful! Looking forward to hear your thoughts
You nearly lost me at the a word but I powered through! 😂 thanks for another great review- I look forward to sampling it. Have a great day Pradeep 🙌

@@ScentZatura champagne cork would make sense in the realms of oakwood!
Something to look forward to… I guess A’wood is the “designer Oud” in this decade.
Yes! for some reason designer brands are even hesitant to do convincing woody notes these days
appreciate the review, i will avoid it after i watched this
No problem! Glad it was useful. I am assuming you were expecting a leather dominant fragrance
Bro the fragrance isn't even announced yet slow down.
Lol😁 They have to go through me before the announcement😂
