My father worked for for CIC video and released this in the UK. I remember he brought it home and it inspired him to take up golf with me in tow. This video started my golf journey.
Greg was always one of the best drivers in the game, not only long, but accurate. Rory McIlroy is considered in modern day golf as the greatest driver of the ball today, but he only averages around 50% of the fairways. It's not always how long you hit it people, it's how accurate you hit it. The best drivers of yesteryears averaged around 80% fairways, with persimmon clubs and balata spinning balls, and yet the best drivers on tour today don't even sniff 70%. Players back then were so much better than today's players, period.
I have a question regarding Greg's bunker lesson and i'm hoping some of you low handicappers out there can answer this for me? - Question -- On the downswing is Greg swinging along the target line OR is he swinging the club along the open stance line? He did not explain that part? Anybody know? Thanks in advance.
His swing plane seems just like a normal shot, meaning swinging on his open stance should feel pretty normal. If you were to try and swing on the target line it would promote a draw and probably feel awkward and get less spin
You could also go to his part 2 short game and watch his “special bunker shot” with a 7 iron in like the 5th minute. He is definitely aiming way left of the target

He should have shown Bob Tway’s bunker shot 😂
love the music at the end haha
Thanks for the upload
I use a persimmon driver and I just hit them alot better than today's technology
