I loved how old DH validation could literally have you in the post-hit animation by the time the survivor Dead Harded, then it decides to refund your hit cuz they hit E after being hit
It's still annoying at times, but it's not the uncounterable perk it once was. Edit: actually it's still annoying af when a survivor can psychically tell when you're going to swing Edit 2: far less annoying now that they can only use it twice
