Hi Bob Your videos have saved me a good amount of time and money. Thought I would return the favor. Harbor freight has a 100wat solar panel for $100.00 they also have the charge controller and splitter. Going to light me up some bears.
Great as always. Bob, I’m getting my catalogues and am shocked at the price of equipment, packages, and queens. My concern is being priced out of the hobby for so many people. If I’m going to survive keeping bees I’m going to have to look at other avenues. One, make my own equipment. Two, switch over to Layens hives or some sort of easy to build equipment that won’t blow a hole in the wallet. If the price increases do anything they will keep the people who are questionable of going into the hobby.
Thanks Bob ,I love q&as. I need to learn more about bees and pesticides. Its great you are supporting Grayson in his endeavors. For those who don't know Grayson does interviews with other bees keeper Keep a eye out for wildwoods bee keeping chat, Channel Name is Wildwoods honeybee farms.
Hello bob, I think I never thanked you for your many very instructive videos, I’ve followed you ever since your started keeping bees 2 years ago and you helped me a lot I understanding my mistakes and generally everything I’m doing. About Victor, if I’m not mistaken, you wrote his name down slightly wrong : Halbgewachs.
Bob thank you for all of the great videos! I always look forward to Sunday to see if you have a new one out. I’m getting ready to build some hive tops and was curious if you could share the dimensions of yours. It looks like you have a rim on the underside as well. Thanks!
Interesting , I watched the duck River Interview you mentioned you started beekeeping in 1981, what did you do prior to that, did you have some sort of trade , I started off in optics , but ended up in the flooring trade, just interested to know , may be it could be the first chapter in the book, "Changing my profession" .Take care Peter 🇦🇺 Australia.
hHa Bob good video really enjoyed it what are u doing now with your bees have you started working them yet. and if so what are u doing thanks have a blessed day
Good information. I have 1 hive I caught the swarm 3 yrs ago off a silt fence on a job site. When I built the box I didn’t have any frames and the bees built 2 rows of wild comb on one end. I mismeasured and the box will hold 11 deep frames, so I built the 2nd deep and supers to match. Wanting to split the hive with a double screen board. Bob my question is would you move them to standard 10 frame equipment first then split say a month later or do it all the day?
Honestly the worst part of nuc sales. People wanting you to answer 8 million questions and when it dies in a yr bc people didn't treat you get the "why did my bees die? They were perfectly healthy"
🤣Love that last comment:
"You see that mailbox at the end of the driveway? You go past that, we're done." Classic.
This is my Uncle!!! This was like watching my childhood - thank you so much for posting!
Hey that was a beautiful work of honey collection. God bless friend !!
Bob, You need to suggest him to Kayman as a speaker for 2024 Hive Life Conference.
Great guy to know. Surround yourself with people like that and you can't go wrong. Thank you
Good stuff Bob thank you

You're very welcome. Perhaps you'll post a video on the 52 chevy? If you do please let me know.
@@bobbinnie9872 how ya know I had a 52 Chevy? I kinda quit working on it and just drive it for awhile. If I do I will sure let ya know. Thanks again!
@@dadu63 You mention it on the "About" page on your you tube channel. I have a soft spot for those old vehicles.
@@bobbinnie9872 ok gotcha. I looked back and I do have a video or picture of it on rain barrels video. Thanks.

Mug up Bob! Thanks for this interview. Nothing like hearing it from the pros
Thank you sir. 🫡
Great video Bob, very informative. After 40 years of messing with bees I have a lot more to learn.
I think we all do. It never ends until you're done keeping bees.
Another fantastic video Bob 👍
Thanks 👍
Great conversation, I could listen to him all day!
Bob, coming to your place on March 15. Sure hope to get to meet you in person.
Because we are usually loading and preparing trucks before heading out in the morning I'm usually here until 9:00. Ask if I'm here when you come.

We're seeing big increases at the wholesale level too. Some are shocking and I predict it will have an effect.
Enjoyed thanks!
Thanks Bob for the video!!! It was good to see you and the crew at GBA yesterday!
Thanks. We all had a great time.
Love it Bob, thanks for preserving these.

Thanks. Our flat lids are 21-3/4 inch long by 16-1/2 wide and we have a 3/4 wide by 3/8 thick strip under each end.
Thank you!

Personally I would get them into standard size equipment so any future additions could be correct.
