GY is for gray. That's where they label the color (BK is Black). First numbers are higher for more tech in the shoe. The last two numbers are lower for stability (40, 50.60) and higher for flexibility and speed (70, 80, 90). I am heavy weight dude and I love my 1540 v3.
V4’s are the best 990 to me, I also got them black 990v6 black and lapiz lazuli ones too. And those grey day V4’s, I got teddy santis v3’s but need grey v3 and V4’s to add to my collection… I love wearing the phantom protection pack too
I keep going back and forth between the V3 and the V4. The V4 seems like a wider shoe and kind of more casual but the V3 might look a little better overall I don’t know

Really good quality bild but they are weird to walk in, bring a lot of joint pain. Uncomfortable
