Okay, with other's giving you grief about he's not your cup of tea, it's fine. You are still being open minded and giving Dimash credit for his talent. you are an honest reactor in my opinion and that I can respect!
Thank you, Sabrina 😊 I'm not gonna bullshit people or fake reactions because I want subs. I can still appreciate artists and certain genres of music, without becoming a diehard fan. I enjoy listening to different things. In the same way I'm sure there are a lot of Dimash fans that don't have Cannibal Corpse on their Spotify playlist, Dimash isn't for me. But he's a great vocalist nevertheless.
Great reaction! Thanks for making me smile!
You're welcome 🤗
He sings Freddy Mercury music. Enjoy your reaction a lot.
Thank you!
The Queen song is Show must go on. I hope that you check it out.

Dimash can fill Any venue in which he performs.
Out of curiosity, what is the biggest venue he has played at to date?
Esse Festival New Wave 2021 foi incrível!
Música maravilhosa do Maestro Igor krutoy!

Dimash is the Michelangelo of music , painting every song with the most beautiful colours and textures. So humble in his personal life but a vocal beast like no other when he hits the stage 🤯 ❤

I would recommend my favourite from Dimash, called El amor en ti, and Ikanaide ... very different, and pretty mindblowing.

Best vocalist ever, and I'm 47 years old, I've seen many.
Greetings from Hellas 🇬🇷🏛️
I am 72 and have been around music and musicians and singers all my life, Dimash is the best I have ever heard
I'm 41 and he ain't bad 😉
He does Show must go on by Queen as well as a Queen medley with Super Vocal Boys I bet you'd like
Everyone loves Queen 😁 If I know someone who says they dislike Queen, then I know they are unwell.
I’m sure that during your searches you will find lots of Dimash tracks that appeal to your preference. Having said that don’t let the “dears” worry you. We can appreciate if something is good or in his case amazing and at the same time not be on that wavelength x
You should check out all of my metal reactions then, Anne 😃 But in all seriousness, there might be some other reaction videos on this channel which you might enjoy. I think a lot of Dimash fans would love Anna Calvi & Jeff Buckley. If you have time check out those videos.
@@melvinthinks Thankyou, will do
DIMASH - SUPER VOCALIST!!! PHENOMENAL!!!
He's not bad, is he 😜
Espectacular Dimash , es el mejor del mundo
You should react to Dimash's ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS, if you want to hear a human electric guitar 😅😅😅
Cool!!!
I totally understand when you say Dimash is not your cup of tea, but that you ADMIRE his vocal talent and his performance skills. I feel the same about many other artist-but Dimash IS my cup of tea! I appreciate that you’re respectful of him as an artist and will do more Dimash reactions! THANK YOU for your honesty!
Cheers Sally 😀 I like watching Manchester City play football/soccer, but I'm an Arsenal fan. It's kind of like that! 🤣😆🤣

Lovely choice of emojis here 🤩🤩🤩
You might like his pretty new song,”When I’ve got you”.

Grandioso y brutal !!! Mágico
Bonjour Melvin. Pour moi non plus, Dimash n'est pas ma tasse de thé. Non, c'est un élixir dont je ne peux me passer depuis cinq ans.... Amicalement de France
😁
The problem is that the world is used to artists that never or rarely move out of one genre so people are not prepared when an artist comes along who loves music, just music, regardless of what genre it is and is determined that he's going to test himself with everything. Even mixing the genres within one song.
You can't put Dimash in a box, you don't ever know what he's going to do next. In one month he released to his channel a full on operatic duet with Placido Domingo and a full orchestra and then followed that up with a blues/rock combo with the most awesome guitar solo and incredible music video.
His stage presence just keeps getting more and more impressive as he gets older, when he did his solo Almaty concert I could only think that it was like watching Freddie Mercury, Prince and Mick Jagger all rolled into one person but he's so quiet and unassuming offstage (rather like Prince was) that it's startling when his stage persona kicks into top gear.
I really like your comment, Debbie. And that's what's intriguing about him. Especially for me as a fan of music. Not just metal, rock etc. I don't have to be a superfan to appreciate and admire his talent. I can just sit back, smile, and enjoy the experience.
Sigue con el...... Tiene una lista extensa e inimaginable de temas
Please react to these suggestions of some of the official videos of Dimash's Pop songs in English like "Screaming", "Stanger", "Be With Me", "Give Me YourLove", "Across Endless Dimensions" (theme song from the movie The Creators, and "Fly Away". Also one of the best of his official music videos is "Love of Tired Swans". They are astounding!!
Only a few for me to pick from then 🤣
If you love FReddie Mercury then listen to Dimash cover of Queen's "the Show mUst Go On." I can't wait to hear your reaction. Thank you.
Nice one! 👍
Try When I've Got You next 😉😉 official MV. You might like that....
We shall see 😁
@@melvinthinks It’s a little more “radio friendly” so you probably will like it better. Also “Smoke” performance video which is more pop/r&b. He was in LA recently and was composing a lot of new music and these two songs are a couple of examples.

Nice one 👍
Even better than Freddie Mercury and i love Queen songs
Not for me, but you're entitled to your opinion 😀
Funny you mentioned Freddie Mercury. When Dimash was first really introduced to the world, it was on a Chinese singing competition show, "Singer 2017." He was only 22 and on episode 2, he sang "The Show Must Go On." His English wasn't the best because he never spoke English and had to learn this song in only one week. He killed it. There was a comment that Brian May said that Freddie would have been proud. Perhaps if I knew just what your "cup of tea" is, I could make a few suggestions of Dimash's songs you could really appreciate.
I watched Vitas doing an interview and he seemed like he was not a nice person anyway.
@@Акшок Dr. Brian May is the loveliest gentleman, and everything you'd want a world-class astrophysicist/musician to be. He and Dimash have a lot in common.
I'm sure we will find something 😁 That's the fun part of the journey. Hopefully you guys stick along with me.
@@melvinthinks I think you may not have the sensitivity to appreciate other levels of music and the emotion that goes along. Dimash has an intimacy to his voice that some people aren't comfortable with. Rock is another kind of outlet. Hard and aggressive. Avoiding feelings of vulnerability.
Dimash is fearless. A whole human being.
Thanks for your reaction.
Appreciate your honesty.
I love this song! Thank you, great reaction!😊
No problem 😊 Thanks for the kind words
Re. "Not my cup of tea", I totally understand where you're coming from as my kids say the same thing. They wouldn't choose to listen to any of his songs (of course I always sit them down to show them his latest stuff 👹🤣) but they do appreciate his talent.
I do the same thing with my partner. I make reaction videos and I say to her "OMG - you have to hear this song or band I just made a video for!!!". I sit her down and she is like "Meh - it's good - but it's just not my thing". Ultimately, I don't want to limit myself to only listening to music because I HAVE to be a superfan to enjoy it. Sometimes that happens, other times, it doesn't. It's okay. In the same way I'd like Dimash fans to open their minds and watch some of my videos - not just Dimash reactions - and broaden their music mindset.
listen to The show must go on
I think every track has been recommended to me by now! 🤣😆🤣
best impossible!!! he is the best!!!
Muchas gracias por tu análisis y sinceridad, no será tu taza de té pero lo disfrutas! 🎺🎻🇪🇸
Thank you and you're welcome! I can still certainly enjoy listening and experiencing Dimash, even if I'd rather listen to Metallica in my free time 😉
Dimash turns 30 years old tomorrow and he will celebrate along with his fans a mega concert to be remembered long for the Dears
Welcome to the world of Dimash! Dimash is the greatest vocalist known to mankind! He is proudly from Kazakhstan! He has an 8 octive range, has been known to sing in 13 different languages. He speaks 3 languages and plays 5 different instruments. He was a child prodigy that proclaimed to his parents (which are also singers) he was going to be a singer at the age of 4. He has been training since the age of 5. He has his Associates, Masters, Bachelors, and now his Doctorin in contemporary and Opera music. He is a MASTER in his craft. He has a very loyal following of his fans around the world! He calls his fans his "Dears". I feel so honored to live in the same time as Dimash. All of his performances are astounding!! Please go to his RUclips channel Dimash Qudaibergen and watch everything he has done! He also has Pop music videos in English on his Channel. It's his world...we just live in it!❤
You're late to the party. This is reaction #2 🤣😄🤣
DİMASH:Nr.1...no comment.
Dude, I’ve ran out of adjectives to describe Dimash, after 7 years of being a Dear ( Dimash fans) I content myself just knowing “ there are great singers, then there’s Dimash” .
I'm not a vocal expert by any means, but I know a lot of vocal coach reactors rate him extremely highly. If they are astounded by him, then that's certainly high praise!
As u said alien-esque.
Greetings from Belgium🇧🇪🍀🍀🍀

Welcome to Dimash Universe, now you’re trapped , there’s no coming back 🤣
For more rocky Dimash, take a look at Dimash in Show must Go On, Power Rangers , Durdaraz, War&Peace … you won’t regret

Dimash, Mozart of XXI century, Genius of music, The Pearl of all singers,
The Goat. 🙌
Thank you! Although I don't like the idea of being trapped 😆
I would suggest Durdaraz, an energetic rocking song with Kazakh lyrics. It's not a "deep" song, so I am comfortable just listening to it with the translation off, just for an energy boost.
This song is getting quite a few recommendations. Hmmm...

👉 Here is playing the best Kobys player in the world, Dimash’s friend Olzhas Qurmanbeck.
This bowl-neck lute played with a bow is is an old Turkic stringed instrument and called Kobys, Qobyz or Kylkobyz in Kazakhstan. The Kyrgyz variant, for example, is called the kyl-kyyak.
The Kobys is the oldest string instrument in the world and according to a German scientist, it spread beyond the borders of the nomadic area of Central Asia and became the mother (prototype) of all European string instruments.
(Turkic means: The Turkic peoples are a collection of ethnic groups from Central, East, North and West Asia as well as parts of Europe and North Africa who speak Turkic languages. Difference between Turkic and Turkish - ruclips.net/video/PqxhtBecVeg/видео.html )
A legend about Kobyz says that this instrument was created by the great steppe narrator Korkyt-Ata, who lived in the 10th century and that the tool is charged with magical and even mystical properties and sounds like animal voices. In addition, the Kazakh people believed that the spirits of their ancestors spoke to them through this music.
The old outlook and piety towards their instruments and music was constantly preserved in traditional Kazakh society and ensured the highest spiritual level of musical art and a special respectful attitude towards musical instruments. Simple people, for example, did not dare to touch the shaman's Kobyz. It is said: The balance between the courses of life and death on earth can be maintained by playing the Kobyz.

If you like metal you must listen to Dan Vasc. He is also classically trained like Dimash but actually a metal singer. His band was named Fearless before he did solo . His Witcher songs are fantastic. But in retrospect so are his opera or other songs. Listen to his version of Amazing grace or I'll make a man out of you. He's already there! Way ahead. Freddie and MJ and others were definitely musical and performance role models. Yet Dimash manages to produce something unique, inimitable, ineffable❤with his voice and his persona.
Thank you for your honesty. I believe that Dimash is not of mass taste, but rather select, with this I am not saying that those of us who listen to it in the car and it is on our playlist are better or worse, it is a matter of taste. @@melvinthinks Olympic has an operatic style, but with a great modern instrumental base, When I've got You is more rock.
Well then, seems like I'm gonna have to do videos for both eventually 😃
People who like Metal music, often really love Dimash's "Olimpico", the performance from Igor Krutoy's channel (Igor is the composer.). It is high energy, and powerful. Dimash has other performances of this song, but they are not even close to the energy of this one. Not nearly. (It is the one with Dimash on a dark background and he is encircled with lights like stars. )

You can't even imagine the great emotions that you're going to feel if you keep exploring Dimash's world, good journey. Greetings 👏👋🎶
It's been entertaining so far and am only two tracks in 😀
Too bad you've not been around long enough yet to not get locked in to only a few genres of music. There's a tremendous amount of diversity in the world of music.
I've been around 40 years, and I studied music production, played guitar for 25 years, been in bands, written and recorded songs etc. I just love music. Of course, my favourite genre is metal and guitar music, but I listen to lots of other things too. I'm a huge Billie Eilish fan!
@@melvinthinks I'm 78 and grew up in the '50s and '60s. I consider those days musically as the doo-wop era but what really made that time so special to me was the phenomenal amount of different genres of music that was popular at the same time. You'd turn the radio on and the top 100 songs would include doo-wop, pop, rock'n'roll, country crossovers, R&B, instrumentals, folk, jazz, TV show theme songs, Broadway and even an occasional foreign hit from Europe or Asia. Those days from the '50s into the low '60s will probably, regretfully, never be seen again. I wish all who missed it could somehow experience it. I suppose it's possible someone might one day start a radio station and duplicate the era. The music still exists and I bet it could become quite popular. That idea is based on many comments I've seen here on RUclips from people who have heard a song or two from back then and prefer it to modern music. It would be so much fun.
Honest to god, if I could go back in time and relive an era, it would be the 60's. Just everything about that period musically - Hendrix, Zeppelin, Cream, Beatles, Stones, The Kinks, Elvis, Chuck Berry... I could go on. What a time to be alive and witness (even to this day) the legends of rock n roll music. And even in the 50s before then - Little Richard, Buddy Holly etc. All of the great blues player too.
It's funny you mention this era because I really want to one day make some reaction videos to some of the classic doo-wop bands. I love the girl groups from that era - The Ronettes, for example. I even did a cover of their song "Be My Baby" for a college project when I was studying music production and audio engineering.
It's not too late - why don't you start your own RUclips channel and share your love of this genre and era of music? It'd be awesome. Especially from someone that lived it.
@@melvinthinks That's a beautiful thought but this technologically lost old man would probably find a project like that quite daunting.
Ahhh - there'll be RUclips videos showing you how 😀 Don't use age an as excuse. It's an untapped audience.

Yes. At the beginning sounds an old Turkic stringed instrument called Kobys. It is probably the oldest bowed stringed instrument in the world and it spread to became the prototype of all European string instruments as violin an chello. That and the use of the fa minor key in the composition gives the vibe of Middle East /oriental/ exotic sound.
Think he´s singing to migrants in general: "New ground far as I can see, new ground underneath my feet, Stranger in a stranger land, new chance to see who I am if I have the strength to begin again"
Reminds me also to the Old Testament; Exodus 2:22 Moses, “And she bore him a son, and he called his name Gershom [that is, A stranger there]; for he said, “I have been a stranger in a strange land.”
Judging by his reaction to these two songs I really don't think he's going to enjoy the two you have recommended. He's more likely to enjoy When I've Got You and possibly even Smoke.
When it comes to recommending songs to reactors we need to put our own personal preferences aside and actually focus on the kind of music the reactor actually enjoys otherwise we do Dimash no favours.
I actually think that he would probably find Love Is Like a Dream with it's very slow build quite boring. This is not a vocal coach who will hear and see the nuances of the song, just your average UK music listener.
@@debbiemorgan859 I recommend based upon musical techniques complications as in those songs Dimash uses the "simple" versions of those.
@@ricardosanfernando7378 yes which is good when it's a vocal coach or musician with some musical understanding of the difficulty of some of those techniques but when the reactor is obviously just a "casual listener" it's far better to recommend songs that they can actually vibe with.
"Average UK Music Listener"? 🤣😆🤣 I studied music production, live sound and engineering. I've also played guitar for 25 years and played around 50 live shows in punk and garage rock bands. But other than that, pretty average.
@@melvinthinks I am only a music and piano teacher. Going from simple to complex is in my nature haha
