Hey! I am a certified 737 pilot and I saw that you were a little confused when your aircraft went around the loopty loop. I am super happy that you got to experience aviation and see the wing do its magic. I just wanted to answer your question!
In aviation, we call this the loopty loop section, the "taxi". The taxi portion is very important to your flight as it lines you up with the centerline on the runway. For safety, runways are placed at least 100 feet away from the terminal/boarding station. In between the runway and the terminal is the taxiway where the plane follows a yellow line to the runway.
I hope you enjoyed this experience and you got to your destination safely and comfortably. Just remember that aviation is the safest form of transportation and that you are safe. Take care and stay safe.
Nice, very enlightening! Thanks for sharing✨ You take care and keep safe as well.
@Michael Ditch called hobbys michael, hobbys. nice pfp
You’re such a natural 👑. Our anxiety sometimes get the best of us. I’m watching your video to calm down before my flight. TFS 🤗
Thank you 💖 I hope you enjoy your flight!
@@Natureofbri thank you 🙏🏽
Me too
I am to now ❤️ my first time flying this week and I’m trying to prepare
Hi pls tips myself i have also prepare for my first flight how i take the flight with very smoothly?
Girl the first time I flew I cried!! We took off and I couldn’t breathe..I was breathless with fear 😂 the man beside me was so nice and calmed my nerves then we got to the destination and there WAS SO MUCH TURBULENCE! I WAS IN TEARS 😂😂 real ass tears! But it is such an amazing thing, that big ass heavy ass plane just up in the sky floating around? Amazing!
SidTheGreat _ girl literally so big like HOW is this happening!? Lol but yess I thought I was gonna be that scared too but it was fun. I hadn’t experienced turbulence because it was great weather but I would have been sitting there in tears with you had our plane been shaking crazy!
You all probably dont give a shit but does someone know of a way to log back into an instagram account??
I was stupid lost my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Ezequiel Russell Instablaster =)
that was me on the way to hawaii, but it wasn’t even my first time flying it’s bc we were on a 747 since they came back
I’ve been flying for a while but it still makes me nervous. I went on a flight yesterday and wish I had watched this before I did. Your reaction is the best. Thanks for this.
Awe yay glad you enjoyed the vlog. I don’t think the slight jitters ever go away. I’ve since flown to Bali & have been back & forth to the states and it’s still new every time.
Currently 25 and watching other people’s vids like yours to get an idea cause I’ve never flown…… from Texas and been all over driving but never on a plane so definitely understand where you are coming from! Thanks for the vid!
Yes, no problem! Get on that plane lady... you won’t regret it!
I’m 25 and I take my first flight next weekend and I am SKEDDDD but baby your face when they talked about the exit strategies SENT ME DOWN😭😭😭😭
Listennnn lol people talking too like nah, I need to hear this. You’ll have a great flight in sure!
Girl my first flight was this year as well at age 25 lol. You’re not alone 😂🤷🏾♀️
Yesss I knew I wasn’t! You liked it?
Love the reaction .. you’re so cute!
Thank you! 🥰
Whew! I'm glad I found this. I'm flying for the first time ever in August. I'm 40 & nervous as heck 😬 😅
Don’t be! I hope you have an awesome trip ✨ I’ve since flown to Bali!
This will be my 1st time flying! I’m nervous about it but I need to do this! Will take a train back never rode a train! Flying from NO to LAX .
Girl I flew for the first time last Sunday and I’m 29 lol I had my kids with me though so I wasn’t that scared, they was comforting
had to be brave for the kiddos! lol thats awesome, glad you had a good time!
You made feel better honestly! I fly alot but i always panic idk why you made believe that take off is easy even tho it’s the hardest part for me. Thanks
I'm a certified Airbus A-320 pilot. I noticed you were surprised at how fast the plane went down the runway before it took off. That is so that the wind under the wings is going fast enough underneath the wing for it to create lift. The takeoff speed for the plane that I fly is 160 knots which is 182 MPH. The plane that you were in was was going approximately 130 knots which is 150 to 160 MPH. Hope that helped 🛫😀
I first flew when i was 4 months old!! Ive grown up basically on planes, soo i am not scared
Same! My dad was a pilot when I was a baby so I grew up flying!
I love your voice narrating this video. Great documenting and thank you for holding the phone horizontally for us viewers to see all. :)
Thank you! No worries haha I definitely didn’t talk much throughout the experience so a voice over was necessary. Glad you enjoyed the video!
I'm actually taking this flight this weekend. Charlotte to houston
I use to hate flying especially when it came to turbulence roaming through the clouds but I've realized if everyone else is calm I have nothing to worry about and I feel safe now I just imagine it as a roller coaster when it comes descending the plane & just a side note one of the airlines called Delta maintain there older planes very great you would have a great experience on them and the flight attendance are very kind :)
Nice! Yes... the more experience we have on them, the more comfortable they become
I’m 35 and never flown. However 2 out of 3 of my kids has. I even worked as a wheelchair assistant at an airport. I will fly for the first time this Sunday and I’m nervous 😬
Don’t be nervous! You’re already familiar with so much… just the literal plane now. You got this girl!
"Girl, don't feel bad; I hope to fly in 2021.
And It be my first at 25.
I’m 39 going to PR first time flying
"To me personally I would fly with Southwest, and Jet Blue.
56 and about to go to New Orleans. never flown before and is still trying to think of a way to abort the plans. your video helped but I'm sure I will forget everything once on the plan. let us pray as I do not like height and won't even get on the park swings because of the 3 feet drop swing. It's crazy yall.
Oh no lol listen you got this! I've since flown 18hrs at a time. Just don't think too much into it and enjoy the experience✨
Spain will be fun when I go there and it is fun
I’m 33 and I’ve never been on a plane. I’ll be going to New York next year (hopefully). I’m pretty sure I’ll freak out lol
My first time flying happened when I was 22 years old. The plane had ONLY half occupation and it was amazing because the weather was very Nice. My fears increased a great deal when I was closer to be 30 years old. It is that age when we realize that bad things can happen to you too. Even my tachophobia came back. When I AM in panick during a trip, I breath deeply through the nose and then through the mouth. It helps to make me feel more grounded.
I know this was 2y ago lol but I’m actually traveling to Denver,Colorado by myself this May-July with southwest. I’m 20. So I’m thankful that this popped up on my recommends.
Yesss so nice! You’ll enjoy the experience for sure. It’s not so bad at all✨
Thanks for sharing your experience. Have a blessed and prosperous day in Jesus name. Let the Lord have His way in your life, and get out of your own way, and don't worry about what anyone else have to say or how they feel about it in Jesus name.
Thank you so much Ladenna 💛✨ God bless you!
It’s fine! Do you! Great video. I’ve flown many times and am afraid. I need to get over it
I can definitely see where it can be a scary thing but you got this 💪🏾 gotta get out here somehow! I’ve flows all the way to Indonesia now.
@@Natureofbri That is awesome. May God continue to bless you and yours in Jesus name. ❤️❤️❤️
Did the take off feel scary?? Like your stomach dropped
no not at all. It was more of a "super fast car taking off then seamlessly flying in the air" type of situation.
I've only flew 1 time and that was last summer to Vegas from Atlanta it was fairly smooth
I’m 56 and going to fly for the first time next week. Scared to death and excited too. Leaving from Houston to Phoenix. Thanks for your video.
Don’t be nervous, this is definitely exciting! You’re welcome & I hope you enjoy your trip!
how was the flight ?!
I am going on my first flight in Nov this year ... I am lucky though my husband who use to flight all the time for work is going with me so I am not as scared as I would be if I was to go by myself
Yesss very lucky to have a companion join you first time. You got this! Enjoy it 😊
This channel is so underrated
Overall really good job 👍
Thank you! 💛
Girl love your vibes ❤
🤗🥰
2024 and i take my FIRST FLIGHT this weekend😮... I'm apprehensive because i don't like heights... It's my 51st Birthday and we're going to Vegas.. Y'all please pray for me that i go through with it and NOT back out🙏🏽
Don’t back out, you got this!
My first flight was on south west airlines too
Nice!
Omg!!!! I found your video so interesting and it looked so amazing 😍.
Well yesterday I Was about to get on my first flight in Memphis Tennessee flying Southwest Airlines. I WAS SOOOOO EXCITED everything went so smoothly going through TSA everything.
Well around the time I was getting ready to board at the time it was announced that my flight was canceled I was so upset 😭.
The maintenance on Southwest Airline they couldn’t figure it out 😭.
My first flight out at 24 years old to Raleigh North Carolina to see my high school sweetheart for 7 years. He was stationed in Fayetteville there for the army.
I was so happy to go see him. & course he flies in from time to time but I wanted this to be special. Oh well at least I know the process of everything like getting to the airport and getting to my gate. Glad you enjoyed your first flight love.
Hopefully I’ll get to get my first flight ✈️ out of Mississippi.
TheEssenceofJasmine E. Oh man that sucks to hear that it got cancelled... I’m putting out there that you’ll get through and get to experience flying soon! I’m glad you enjoyed the video, girl I was too hype having never flown. Thanks for sharing your comment, hope you & your BF unite again soon✨

Do not be afraid
"Flewed out"....*shakes head*
Haha
Just flew for the first time at 36 years old!
Yay how was it?
@@Natureofbri I didn't like take off and got sick to my stomach lol. Coming back home it was alot of turbulence and I was really going through it. Hot flashes and stomach aches 😂 but I will definitely do it again. I was told next time to take Dramamine non drosy for my stomach. My kids loved it
nice first flight vlog. have you notice that not only is the horizon always flat to the observer, but it always rises to eye level with the observer who takes flight, no matter how high the observer ascends. if the earth were a globe, the lateral horizon would be bowed and it would drop below the eye level of the observer as he ascended above the earth. conclusion, our science teachers have, whether knowingly or unknowingly, lied to us. the earth is flat.
The earth isn't flat its the fact that the earth is incredibly big compared to us and planes don't fly high enough to see the curvature also if the earth was flat it would be daytime because there is no curvature facing away from the world. There isn't a part of the world facing away. When the earth as a sphere is rotating the side that isn't facing the sun is night time and while the side that is facing the sun is daytime. The axis of the earth changes which is the direction the planet is facing so once its winter the axis changes. Another example is a solar eclipse, when the moon covers the sun (since the sun is far away for it to be a spot in the sky) when a solar eclipse happens the sun casts out the earth's shadow into space which is then cast onto the moon, guess what the shape is on the moon, round its round if it was flat it would be a straight line across the moon.
If you want to learn more on the shape of the earth watch scientific videos or kursgezet
@@aqaerius5137 the very nature of the moonlight proves that the eclipse is almost certainly caused by a dark non-luminous body moving over the moon. the earth shadow as a hypothesis to explain an eclipse is refuted by the fact that at the middle point in the eclipse the moon does not go dark, as would be expected if sunlight were being blocked by a spherical earth. the moon, in fact, glows blood red at the apex of the eclipse. the moon turns a deep red hue, much like a red-hot copper. the moon is actually glowing red in the midst of what is supposed be the dark umbra of the earth's shadow.
that fact alone indicates that the moon is not a reflector of the sun's light, but rather is a light source in-and-of itself. that confirms what God states in Genesis. God refers to both the sun and the moon as ''lights.'' God did not call the moon a reflector of light, but rather a light in-and-of itself. indeed, Jesus stated, without equivocation, that the moon is not a reflector, but gives off its own light. ''but in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light.'' (Mark 13:24) the sun shall be darkened, and the corollary is that the moon shall not give her light. obviously, that means that ordinarily the moon gives off its own light. see also Matthew 24:29; Ezekiel 32:7; Isaiah 13:10.
@@aqaerius5137 the evidence of a flat earth is easy to discern, once a person perceives what he is seeing around him. the horizon is always seen to be flat over water. that proves that the earth is flat, otherwise the horizon would be bowed. as B. Charles Brough says, ''the marine horizon, from whatever position it is viewed, always appears to be, and is, in fact, a perfectly level line, and since this appearance is the same in all parts of the world, its surface must be level; and therefore the earth is a plane.'
@@aqaerius5137 not only is the horizon always flat to the observer, but it always rises to eye level with the observer who takes flight, no matter how high the observer ascends. if the earth were a globe, the lateral horizon would be bowed and it would drop below the eye level of the observer as he ascended above the earth.
@user-fs5sx2uh2h bro I just gave you so many examples of the fact that the earth is round, if the earth is flat why is the moon and the sun not flat, if the earth was flat so many things would have gone wrong, do you even understand how gravity works and how our brain perceives the way the earth is from ground level, it was never flat to begin with.
also will be my first flight we are flying American airlines
I wish you had of shown you touching down as well...that's what I like !! Loved your vid tho ❤
Next time lol I was a bit overwhelmed and full of excitement but I've since travelled around to South East Asia. So I got it now! 🤣💁🏾♀️
I'm flying for the first time ever in March
Hopefully it will be a great experience ✨
26 and never been on a plane myself!!!! Lol
See! Hopefully it happens for you soon girl. It’s not bad at all!
My uncle is a pilot for southwest and goes out of Houston hobby
I was sixty before I had flown!
Oh wow! First time for everything! I didn’t have nothing on you lol
Just remember, those people who clap after the landing, were just as scared as you, so you're not alone, because people who are comfortable with planes, don't clap.
I'm comfortable with flying since childhood and my parents taught me to clap so I want to do it every time anyway. It's a way to celebrate the magic for me
Did you fly back
I remember my first time flying on a plane i flew from dfw to charlotte it was i left dfw at 6:05 that morning and i landed at 8 something that morning
Yes super fast flight. Perfect starter flights!
I'm actually thinking about becoming a flight attendant
I feel for you girl
LMAO!! I fly soon for the first time and I am cracking up at this video!! I was lookin at the crack like omg!!! I’m so ready though!
Lol I think you’ll have a great experience then! It’s definitely a little intense getting on the plane at first but fun once it’s all over with!
Well done!
Why because they let you carry on extra free Bag. "Beautiful staff". Jet Blue First Class is excellent, from people experience. It is.
Nice thank you!
What about checking in and TSA?
It was pretty smooth I believe. I’ve since travelled to Bali & that was more intense checks but I only had a duffel bag and a purse for this Houston trip. So I literally just weighed it and then they took it… they looked in my purse once through the xray thing and that was the only time I had to do that.
Im 46 and flying first time next week from Los Angeles to Utah and im 💩ing my pants already 😂
Lol don’t worry you got this! Let me know how it goes✨
@@Natureofbri it was great!!! A little Xanax didnt hurt 😂

Don't be scared! Trust I definitely know how you feel... but everybody getting on that thing with you will make you be like "ok I got this." I hope lol It's fun once your'e finally in the air. I pray you have a safe flight.
Same! Idk where to go and what’s first... security, check in etc. do I have to take stuff off for security etc I’m nervous about the flight itself 😬
@@user-bj1ez7wr7n yeah it’s a lot to take in! But you only take off electronics and shoes when going through TSA. Other than that you’re good... so wear easy take on/ take off clothes for sure.
She's beautiful
Thank you 🥰
