@@finyl8813 hi! if u are below 18 years, u definitly need a parents permission. So before u are going to the airport, make sure your parents call (whatever airline u are going) to confirm that someone u know is going to pick u up once u reach that airport. If no need is there to pick u up then the airline will reject your permission to go to that country. So make sure your parents call them! Cause when i was checking in, theh asked me whether i was a minor. And i said yes so they kept me waitin and during that time my father called the emirates counter to say that he is there in dubai to pick me up. Believe me u would have no problem once u finished check-in. U would pass the immigration and security quickly. Btw is it your first time flying alone? P.s:- hope your trip goes safe 😁

Thank you so much for this video, this is by far the most reassuring guide I've found. I'm 19 and travelling to Australia soon for the first time ever (with 2 layovers 😭) and it's nice to see someone young who has managed to do it :)
im worried too and im 12 almost 13 going on a trip to Italy.. excited to travel with my besties but worried ill be distracted
@@R3DD1TST0RlES_Q hey! I've been on my flight and it's honestly so easy to use the airport: Just look at the signs and if you can't see any signs, look for them. If you're really stuck you can ask someone but I wouldn't worry, it'll be way easier than you expect. Have fun on your trip! 😊
Enjoyed your flight?
@@amour0072 hii yes thanks for asking! I had so much fun and went to so many places. on the 6th day I went to a theme park! Overall it was amazing and really fun especially with my friends.
Planing to go in the new year alone for the first time your vid is help full

I'm 32, at some point in the next year or two I'm finally getting top surgery. I live in New Zealand and i have never flown, never even left my island! The only surgeon public tend to use lives about 5 hrs away from my home, and i will be flying back while i recover. I'm not nervous but i am excited. Going to be flying on an ATR 72
Watch videos of the airports you will be using - check-in, baggage check, security, finding your gate. I watched numerous videos on Denver International Airport for a recent trip there. When I actually did my trip it was deja vu all over again.
Taking my first flight ever on Thursday! I too am from Atlanta and I used to work at the airport so hearing somebody know what it's like made this video not just helpful but super relatable, now I'm ready for my flight thank you!
I'm flying home for christmas after my first semester of college so I'm trying to prepare myself as much as possible! Thanks love

Thank you so much! This video was so helpful ❤️ I’m 22 and I’m on my way to Alaska in less then 3 weeks to see my boyfriend who’s stationed there , so I’m very nervous because this my first time. I have anxiety as of now so hopefully I’m not to worked up lol
This video helped, I'm solo flying for the first time at 20 and it's actually assuring that you went to ATL because that's where I'm arriving. I'm flying from England and I'm super excited for it, I know the experience will go well now I know more tips than I did to help me along the way.

Oh, I'm 14 also going from Cali to Colorado 😂
I’m 15 and it’s my first time going on a plane. I don’t know how I will react for example I’m not usually the person to get anxious, but this video does help to make sure everything is fine with my boarding to Arlington, Texas
This was so helpful and really esaed my anxiety so thanks. At the age of 19 I have never been on a plane and i am flying to see my long distance boyfriend in January.
how'd it go?
@@JustChloe1607 it was so much fun but i miss him so much.
I'm going in July and I'm scared. I have 1 stop and sooo nervous I'm going to miss it
@@Gray_lemoncx i’m flying to see him again in the summer and i have a layover too. i’m also nervous that i’m gonna miss my second flight but as long as you’ve given yourself enough time for your layover you should be fine.
Awesome tips in this video, very helpful! I’m a first time flyer, going to Las Vegas in about a week, this video gives me some confidence. Thank you so much 👍🏽
Well how did it GO!!!
@@JoStotts everything went real smooth, I had a marvelous time in Vegas, the flights were smooth and awesome!
Thank you so much for this video, I am 14 and flying to Florida alone this summer 😅, and I am honest to God so scared. I have flown so many times before but this is completely different, as you know lol.
So not only am I flying alone for the first time in a few months.. I'm flying for the first time period. It will also be the farthest from home I've ever been (Ohio to Las Vegas) I'm nervous and excited! Definitely getting out of my comfort zone with this one. I plan on packing light, as in no need for a checked bag. Carry on/personal item only. Plan is everything that needs to be put in the bin (electronics,. toiletries) will be in my personal item bag so I am only emptying out/re-packing one bag. The only thing in there I won't need to unpack is a sleep mask. Thank you for your tips!
this was a very helpful information, i’m 18 and i’m going to fly alone to usa, i have 2 layouts
Thank you! I’m a “real” adult but have always flown with my husband. Flying alone soon!
Thank you so much!!!! I’m 19 going to Portland Oregon!!!
I've have always wanted to go! How was the flight?!
@@JoStotts it’s was soooo fun!!!! I actually vlog all of it and the flights were not bad at all!!!! I was prepared thanks to you!!🫶🏼
For tip #7 , i use a piece of colorful old cloth to tie on the handle to make it easily identifiable ( a tip from my late grandpa)
Thank you, very helpful, climbing Everest next week as an 18 yr old, so bit nervous.

Haven't travelled alone before and I am only 18 travelling for school. The video was of help thank you so much😘
im 18 and i’ve traveled overseas but never alone and im legitimately tweaking out LOL
I’m 21, flying by myself to Oklahoma from Canada to meet some friends and I’m really nervous, thanks for this!
i'm 34, from Sheffield, UK. never been on a plane up until 6-9-2022 when i flew from Manchester UK, to Varadero,Cuba all alone haha!! i just booked a random 14 night trip, and luckily it all went really well. the vacation was really nice, but i think 14 days alone in such a beautiful place with nobody there to make memory's with was slightly sad, so next time i will certainly go with family :)
I am new. I don’t plan on flying anytime soon, but I wanted to be prepared for the future. I have flown before but never on my own. Thanks for the tips.
Of course!
I’m 14 preparing for my flight. Thank you so much the made it so much easier for me
I'm 50 and have been on hundreds of flights and agree with your video. I fly out of Phoenix also a very large busy airport and only live a few minutes away and couldn't agree more about getting there early. Anything can happen. I'd rather be safe and sound bag checked, through TSA at my gate enjoying a cup of coffee playing on my phone then racing like a maniac at the last minute trying to make it.
In Ohio.. moved for the first time at 30 years old. Traveling alone for the first time. Traveling in an air plane for the first time as well….. and to Alaska! Never been anywhere besides NYC and Maryland. 😮 thanks!
This helped so much because I’m flying to the ATL airport !! Now I know there’s a north side and south side !! Thanks so much for the video !!
This is super helpful, I'm 22 going to South Dakota and disabled this makes me less worried

Going to New Orleans to go home from college for the first time since coming here at 18. Atlanta is my layover airport so crossing my fingers this flight isn’t too stressful
How'd it go in Atlanta. I'm heading there next week and I'm so scared of the airport bc ik it's huge and buys
Everything about this is so helpful besides the packing only clothes you need lol I’m moving to Texas in one suitcase next month at 18😅
I’m 15 and I’m flying alone in a couple of days I’m so nervous but thank you for these useful tips :)))
