THE MOST OUTSTANDING VISUAL ARTIST, PERIOD.
Great interview. I'm surprised in this day and age that artists don't walk down the street and see people. As an artist I see all different kinds of Black Folks. Different Black racial combinations, hair styles, textures. The language, colloquialisms, regional mannerisms. Foods and what you call certain food.
His art is dope. Loved Marvel's Slingers.
DC, Chris Cross .... dare I dream .... Milestone project ?
There’s nothing different if you’re a black comic book artist. Your skin color doesn’t matter no matter what race you are as an artist.
Says you lol
Exactly this is why people like this aren’t that interesting because this is all they talk about
Cool information thanks
His art has style.
I still remember him drawing Captain Marvel. He's not the only black 🎨 Whatever happened to Steven Hughes who created Lady Death for Choas? comics
Dope
Hey it doesn't matter the race! As long as an artist can do the job then awesome I don't care about the color of the artist.
To do the work....youre right.
But to be the few of anything in any field it does matter. It matters a lot.
Representation does because it inspires.
@@Dee-xb9mt I agree
What is her name? She should be a superstar.
Represent, represent! #illmatic
She is beautiful. She should be famous.
Awesome! Ignore the white horse.
Nothing wrong with black people making comics, I just wish people would stop making white character's black. Just make new characters, it works both ways man. No making black character's white, like blade don't you dare make him white.
simon may i feel the same way. I guess the problem is company's r afraid new characters will not sell
simon may Can you please give any examples on white characters being turned black?
Agreed, plus then it shows actual originality and creativity, rather than just a take that sort of thing.
I used to feel the same way but honestly generally being and changing races if characters isn't new..they've done it with Captains Marvel (Marvell not dc) The Crimson Avenger, Nick Fury(Recently since the success of the Marvell Films) its not new OR A big deal nowadays they're doing it for pandering instead of reinventing or giving some diversity.
