Great video. Thank you for the information. We were in this area with the most magnificent view of Sassalungo and I fell in love with her. I wish I hadn’t listened to All Trails when it rated it as difficult and would have hiked here. I guess I will just have to go back.
thank you for viewing ... I chose Selva b/c it was first and foremost the most convenient town for my MTB (mountain biking) tour of the Sellaronda (haven't put that video and others together yet) and it's not a bad home base for central and western dolomites but I would definitely make a second home base for the eastern dolomites, the obvious choice would be cortina d'ampezzo area ... otherwise it's a lot of ground to cover (drive) with one home base ... so it really depends on your time and areas you want to cover ... lots of maps out there but here's a link to a useful "general" area, scroll down to the map www.moonhoneytravel.com/where-to-stay-dolomites-summer/ - ENJOY

Thank you for your kind words … there are soooo many other hiking opportunities so even if not Sassolungo, you have tons of options ❤️❤️❤️

Great video. I really like the debrief at the end. We are considering Selva as a base for our trip. What did you think of Selva as a base?
