Paper planes fly far when properly folded and thrown • my tips:
Folding:
• Pause the video after each step.
• Too hard? Start with Level 1: / mahircave
Launch:
• Hold the front slightly higher than the back.
• Throw it with half of your strength.

*The part that was tricking me:* at 4:00, when he's folding the outside edge in to the middle, he's not lining up the edge perfectly with the center crease. It's *overlapping* the crease.

Ok - It took a min to figure this out. Here goes :
In Europe and other places an international system of paper sizes is used. The normal size of paper is called A4. It is measured in metric. It is 210 millimeters wide and 297 millimeters long.
If you're trying to do this w conventional 8 1/2" x 11" paper (american), you're in trouble.
11" (279 mm) is 94% of 297. Cut 19 mm off the vertical side (paper will be 279 mm x 196 mm - this will maintain the correct ratio) Use 27.25 mm at 2:26 - BOOM !

If you are getting stuck at 4:00 it is because he is folding past the center line. Only the tip is on the center line, the other end of your folder near the rear of the plane will go well over the center line. Hope this helps.

The hardest part for me was turning us letter paper into a4 paper
