John just seems like such a sweet, warm, down to earth man who really loves what he does. He's honestly one of the coolest, most talented actors I've seen.

Ah...so great to hear the man speak. Met John at SAIT campus bar the day after his last night of performing. I had no idea about their show. I was sitting with friends having lunch when he and Patrick were leaving. I glanced over and caught his eye....for the life of me I couldn't place him. John recognized that I was struggling to place him so he slipped into to character as Jim. As soon as he did I burst out "Oh my God It's Mr. Lahey!!!" He and Patrick came over to our table and shook our hands and chatted briefly before leaving. A treat I will cherish for years to come. Such a great actor that out of character I didn't recognize him. Blows me away every time I think about it.
Thanks to Netflix for bringing the TP Boys to America. Absolute genius work, one of my all time favorite "shows". Just an awesome hilarious show. They are performing live in my area for their Christmas show, unfortunately, I will be unable to attend, or, perhaps I can go. We shall see.

For those wondering, John & Tyler are friends and planned the bit at the beginning to explain Tyler's absence from the series while he left to shoot a movie.

I love you John, amazing video, already miss your tweets, liquor stories as Lahey, and your presence in the world as yourself and as Lahey. I respect you so much, I wish I wouldn't missed the Aug 2017 show, would of loved to meet you, you never once lost my respect. The minute I found out you didn't drink I instantly respected you so much I looked into John Dunsworth, and I'm glad I did, yours was a genius that affected my life. I really appreciate the fact that John actually takes the time to explain the joy he finds in the fans and the projects that have come about due to the Trailer Park Boys success. I recently watched J.P. Rob and Mike do 51 questions and I felt as if the fans questions weren't taken seriously. I would like to see the Drunk and on Drugs show air here in the States... it takes a class act like Mr. Dunsworth to make a show a huge success. Thanks for the laughs!

John Dunsworth is brilliant. He plays a drunk SO well! And he rarely touches alcohol in real life. Much like another great comedian that played an awesome drunk by rarely drank.......Foster Brooks.
honestly john is a true intellect. the first interviewer had to jump on the smallest thing, and John played along and made the best of it. I'm truely a huge believer of how acting can make a impact on others. john plays his character well and he is a portrayal of a person that he manages to continually be drunk is a testimony to his ability to stay in character. john if you ever see this, there are many people who understand the humor and others who totally disagree. if they never saw you speak aside from your character they'd never understand the work you put into your character. you are a great actor and I and my friends appreciate everything you've done and wish we could interview you! cheers Jim (john) I'd love to see you write a screen play, btw. :)

I would love to talk to Mr. Dunsworth- Jim- I have a million non TPB questions for him. He just has a lot of heart and you can see it in how humble he carries himself having such a responsibility with his talents. All talented people in the theatrical entertainment business could really stand to take a lead from the man.

Without question, out of any tv show or movie, he is the best at acting drunk. I think he's so good at it because he doesn't try too hard and doesn't go over the top like most actors do.

John plays Mr. Lahey so well offscript I have to wonder if Dunsworth isn't The Liquor himself. At a point in the second season it really feels Dunswoth got a feel for Lahey until by the end of the season I think the actor and the character became one. It's a beautiful thing for an actor to get so well versed in the character it exceeds the original writing and makes the show better overall as the other actors have to play catchup. The show is enriched overall, great for rewatching :)
