    October 10, 2022. Cole Custer & Stewart Haas were penalized 50 driver points, 50 owner points & $100,000 for manipulating the outcome of a race. The #1, #3 & #23 team should get at least that much, if not more. They made a total joke of Nascar racing. Disgusting!

  • @fernandoarroyo3889

    So the fact that you had two Chevy drivers that were capable of passing Byron, not passing Byron but blocking for Byron had no impact on the race finish and who advanced whatsoever huh

    • @davidvaughn6454
      @davidvaughn6454 11 часов назад +1

      What a Joke!!!! They let two chevy drivers manipulate the end of a race as they were pretty much told to not let anyone pass. Nascar has stooped to a new low. No one is supposedly allowed to do so unless your blocking for a Hendric Chevrolet. If I'm the fords and toyota teams next week i would not allow a chevy a chance to pass any of the other 3 cars that are left. They should be able to do the same thing next week the chevy drivers did. I'm not serious of corse but way to go Nascar, Your sport is not legit anymore. It's a Joke!!!!!!!

    • @timmorin69
      @timmorin69 22 часа назад +3

      The old points system has its own down side. Personally I think that downside is far worse than the downside of this format. It's not fun when the season champ can be determined 2-5 races before the end of the season. It makes the last races basically pointless and not exciting to watch when you already know who the champ is. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario. Do i think some changes could be made, yes, but i really don't think going backwards is a good idea. They changed the format because fans were complaining that the champ was crowned to early in the season and it ruined the end of the season, and now people like yourself are complaining that the champ doesn't get crowned until the last race.

    NASCAR lost all credibility today. You saw two cars manipulation of the ability for the 24 car to secure his finish position. You saw a car alter his speed and position on the track to allow the 20 car a path and easy pass. You also heard voice comments between these cars setting this scenario up.
    I am pretty sure there are rules about fixing outcomes of races. Didn't this cost Michael Waltrup his race team ??
    The 24, 3, 1, 20 and 23 should have been disqualified with crew Chiefs suspended.
    Larson should have been the 4th team in the final 4.

    NASCAR is never gonna change this garbage format. They through Elton's comments here tell me they're 100% proud the playoffs provide the absolute clown show that was the end of last night's race year in and year out cause of the OEMs getting away with running the show. So Bell's semi-Hail Melon-ish move was what NASCAR just had to get all over as soon as possible but literal Spingate 2.0 with Chevy's ''deal'' as clearly heard and instructed across the faster Dillon and Chastain's radios who blocked for Byron instead of passing him, and Toyota with Wallace deliberately slowing way down to make sure Bell passed him which all manipulated the outcome of the race and building of the final four doesn't matter and they just brush it off? What a damn joke!

  • @fernandoarroyo3889
    @fernandoarroyo3889 21 час назад +2

    It's such bull shit. Those two Chevy drivers both had radio communications directly telling them to not ask him what kind of competition is that. Bells was someone who got loose into the corner and couldn't get his car off the wall. The 1 & 3 were holding up half of the field for multiple laps for the 24. How is that ant better or different. At least Bell was being competitive and trying. This looked more like F1 then nascar.
