In a time where you can buy a used, low millage KIA EV6 for about 25-30 grand, the price of an (almost) new Ocean needs to be around 15k to make sense. The KIA has a seven year, 100 K miles warranty and parts supply and software updates are guarantied.

I have always thought that the electrical and mechanical components are sourced, not specifically manufactured for Fisker as that would have taken an illogical amount of time, energy, and cost. Plus it was made by Magna who makes other vehicles which probably share parts between themselves and the Fisker. HOWEVER, how about things like body panels and windshields. Now those will be tricky as with the 18k made worldwide, and I'm not even sure about the accuracy of that, there really aren't enough Oceans to financially make sense to manufacture those one off very specific parts. So, have a mechanical/electrical breakdown and you may be ok, might take time to source the parts and cross reference but you very well be ok. But, accident with a need for a hood and fender and there you might be in trouble. Even something as commonly needing replacement like a windshield, which we never worry about, that will be a huge issue. You can drive carefully and some people, like me, can avoid accidents for 10+ years BUT I've needed 2 windshields in my BMW over the last 8 months. Can't avoid that one.

Yea, that price needs to be around 19K for people to take on that risk I believe. Dealerships nearby me are expecting 38K for some reason and holding on to more hope than Mother Marry 🙏.

In Luxembourg (the small country south-east of Belgium) Oceans go for 17.000 euros (excl. VAT, so 21500 euros incl. VAT).

What happens if one of the windows breaks? 😂 There are no brake pads on the market! Unfortunately, you will absolutely not be able to maintain this vehicle. A car these days is a complex device, the slightest malfunction can render your car unusable.

Save yourself £10k and (if you're a risk taker) purchase one of the many lightly used ones currently in the market. How long the car will driveable is anyones guess.

    Talk about delusional wow. 🤯
This vehicle is trash. The company is dead. There will not be over the air upgrades because the company is dead. There won’t be any more improvements because the company is dead. If you have issues (and you will) you are on your own. DO NOT GET DUPED INTO BUYING A FISKER
