Nice comparison. I actually bought the montsouris bb in the black leather and monogram. I used for a few months but found I was too annoyed by the closure and I hated having to pay attention to making sure to get the bag lined up for the magnet. I ended up selling and a few months later I was able to buy the PSM...and that bag is my fav! I haven't found any cons so far with that bag and so glad I kept stalking my LV SA to locate it for me. Great overall video for folks debating the two bags.

I don't understand why we can't get a knockoff *condup* . No one is going to walk up to you on the street and check your bag to see if it's genuine.

I have about 12 designer (everyday) *yutulu* bags + 3 *yutulu* clutches. I still have some bags on my wishlist, but my idea is not to build a huge collection, ever. I have also sold some bags that I no longer use. The selling process is not always easy and can take a lot of time. That's one reason why I consider long and hard before I buy something new.
I also just purchased the Montsouris BB with the black leather to get the best of both. I previously had the Palm Springs but sold it, thinking I was over the mini backpack trend. lol But I missed having one for travel. 😅

I love the *yutulu* bag you showed on RUclips. I want the mini version but it’s $1,200. It’s said to be made of imported leather. Do you know if the knockoff bag is made in China? Another great video!
Montsouris is so cute! Have you ever considered the black one? Which one do you gravitate towards more based on ease of use etc. I need a daily and can’t decide between the montsouris and PSM
I have looked at the one with the black trim but I was way more drawn to the lighter aesthetic of the vachetta leather! I do use the PSM more year round and it’s very carefree, whereas my montsouris is a little more of a hassle, and I feel it’s less secure with its opening.
I have the PSM and love it! Now I’m no the hunt for the montsouris bb, but it’s so hard to get😩
The PSM was a cult favourite for a reason! Lol oh I’m sorry to hear that it’s hard to track down the montsouris bb! It’s crazy how low inventory is in LV!

With the BB if I tie my shoes my things fall off so I am going to sell it for secure reasons! I am constantly having to check my things and if i beg over to avoid them falling off
I can totally see how that would be a problem! Now that I've owned both of them for longer, I definitely reach for my PSM more often than the Montsouris BB.
Since the straps on the PSM are thinner, do you find that they dig into your shoulders? Is Montsourris more comfortable for all day wear? TIA!
I don’t find either of them to be uncomfortable to wear, and none of them did in to my shoulders. To be honest, I can’t tell much of a difference between the two in terms of comfort for all day wear!

What made you get this version of the montouris bb over the one with black leather?
I liked the lighter tan color of the vachetta leather with the monogram in the montsouris bb. It has a more summery vibe which was what I was specifically looking for! The black leather is beautiful too, but it gave the backpack a darker look overall, especially since the entire top cover flap is the black leather. Whereas my version has the monogram top flap.
Hi Irene! I love your content. I've always had an interest in the PSM but even more so now that I see the craze is starting to die down. Which of the two do you think would stay in your collection long-term?

I feel like I love them both so much, it's hard for me to say which one would outlast the other...the PSM has a more modern twist to the backpack whereas the Montsouris has a more classic look to it. Perhaps as I get older, the Montsouris might be more appropriate to suit my age in the future? Then I could pass down the PSM to my future daughter? I honestly don't know!

It might, but who am I to say? Lol I just feel like it has a more classic style to it. Plus, I may be mistaken, but I’m pretty sure the montouris bb I have is now the face lifted version. They used to have a different version from years ago, so does that mean it’s technically considered part of their “classics”?

I mean, if something requires an expert to identify, then spending 10% on a fake is money well spent because the quality is so good that it will fool almost everyone except the experts. The question is whether it is sold as genuine. But if it's sold as a fake for a tenth of the price, then I'll buy it if I want it. *condup* Because otherwise you're just paying for something that's overpriced. If someone told me it's unethical to buy it, I would say it's unethical to charge that much for a genuine product when the quality is the same.
