Nice compilation video Stephen of your stalled builds. I try to finish all my builds once I start or I keep thinking about it like a half eaten sandwich 🥪 😋 in the fridge. I hope you only paid for 4 days worth of a working Hemi Charger. Although I like widebody Hemi Demon Chargers & Challengers, I see alot on YT abused and don't want to end up with one of those. Hope you get the motivation to complete your kits. MODEL on.👍
Thanks much, David, I appreciate you, brother 🙏 That's usually me too (the half eaten sammich), I usually only build one at a time just for that reason, lol 🤦😂 There's a known design flaw in the 345/5.7L Hemi where the top end is starved of oil (despite having 8 quarts or so in it) during extended idling. This shouldn't affect most owner's cars as people don't typically idle their cars 100's (or more) hours per year. Unfortunately...mine was a retired police car, and had spent about as many hours idling as it did chasing down bad guys (according to the car's own diagnostics). It had (several) other issues, mostly electronic, but to fix the mechanical damage it came with would have meant yanking the engine out (since it's not an ohc engine), and replacing...almost everything (valvetrain, cam, lifters, rockers, etc), with the knowledge that it would still be a ticking timebomb to happen again 😔😮💨 (pun intended 🤪) Of course Dodge knew about this design flaw, but why redesign it at great expense (millions) when they're selling by the buttloads and generally only affects a relatively small percentage of vehicles? Aside from that, Fiats don't typically have stellar reliability records (and neither has Dodge, not since Fiat bought them). When I worked for a nationwide roadside assistance company as basically dispatch (for over a year), Dodge brand (including Jeep) was 8 out of the 10 most towed (due to breakdowns) vehicles in the country 🤦😂
Very cool projects, love those Mercs! Not sure how I missed this but glad I came across it!
Thanks, Paul, I appreciate you, and you're fine, brother ✌️🤣
Great looking projects, ol bud, get em done!
Thanks, old friend 🙏
