    What do you use the winch for? I bought one a few years ago and it's so weak I never could find a use for it. Tried to pull a small log and it wouldn't so I pulled it by hand! Lol I can pull more by hand then the winch. I did lift a deer to skin it, but it took longer than I could have pulled by hand. I really wish I could find a use for it?

      It's good for winching lawn mowers on a trailer. I bought it for winching heavy pipes through a machine I was repairing. As far as winches go it's pretty weak. I bought it for that recurring job. I used the one in the video a lot for that. Now that I got all those pipes moved I haven't used it in a couple of years.

    About how much do you use it? I am thinking of getting one but I will only use it a handful of times through out a year. Do you think it will wear out or in your opinion do you think it will last a while being I wont be using it much. Thanks

      I used it a lot before it messed up. I gave the one in the video that I fixed to a friend and he is still using it.

    Would this get a truck(2x4) unstuck from mud or snow?

    • @LostSkills
      @LostSkills  4 года назад

      I doubt it. Maybe a 4 wheeler.

    Is there a way to bypass the clutch?? Weld it together or ??

    • @LostSkills
      @LostSkills  Год назад +1

      You could weld it together. It would work, just no free spool.

      Instead of building up the old pin, you could jam a grade 8 bolt in there and weld it.

    “Most worthless tool on the truck ....the dremel” dangit if you ain’t right about that!

    • @LostSkills

      You need it like twice a year to cut some stupid bolt off that takes about 50 of those little cut off wheels.

      You guys are crazy! I’m a plumber and that dremel has saved me in tight spots maybe twice a year for many years.

      Kenney Chappuis .HA. Maybe the dumber, mobile version of AVE. I think that guy has some more brain power to work with than I do.
