This is a phenomenal resource for the whole respiratory process. I have one question/concern. This seems to show the diaphragm moving up with inspiration instead of down, which it does to enlarge the chest cavity. I'm looking for an animation that shows the rib cage enlarging by moving upward and outward while the diaphragm moves down to enlarge in both directions creating negative pressure for improved air flow into the lungs.
This outstanding video helps students a lot in understanding the breathing mechanism of human. Students are able to chase the path of the air from the nose to the end of the aveoli. and entering blood capillaries, too. Great thank and God bless.
this video Help to understand The layman regarding how Gas exchange taken Place ,What Are The.Main Parts include in respiratory Systems.More over very Good presentation
😭😭😭😭FOUND ANOTHER USEFUL CHANNEL THAT I SHOULD’VE WATCHED BEFORE MY EXAM…why didn’t this idea come in my mind earlier!?…anyways now this channel will help me in the next school year…Thanks a lot! ❤
This is a very informative video. I had an episode where the carbon dioxide in my lungs was very high and sent me to ICU. I'm really hoping and praying that this never happen to me again 🙏🫁
The diaphragm actually contracts down allowing air to flow into the lungs and then relaxes back up as the lungs empty of air. The animation doesn't show this, unfortunately.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Ronin Omari Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Good, but deoxygenated blood is typically shown as dark red/blue, while oxygenated blood is shown as being bright red due to haemoglobin being an iron based chemical. Shame, or this would have been a really good training video.
Nice video. Breathing exercise can help to recover the lungs & improve the respiratory strength. In the marketing smart breathing devices available we should start using it.
We are not done here yet just to be happy with this correctly working organ It is the carbon dioxide that the trees use..and that circle is equally important or just as much needed in the strength of the braid Mouth breathing and nazle breeding .keep that in mind And then how the trees are doing their photosynthesis
i want to know the designer who creates this. I have huge concept to create this kind of animation. If anybody ready to work this kind of vfx. Please ping me.
I really liked the explanation and the animation included but why were the oxygenated red blood cell depicted as blue? This will confuse the students who have been told that oxygenated blood is bright red. Due to this error I am unable to use it as a teaching aid but other than that it is a beautiful animation .
Looks like diafragma going up while inhaling, it's not clear the idea of the diafragma contracting ang going downwards during the inhalation and going up during the exhalation. The video is well done, you should check the contents.
Happy New Year Barbara, During inhalation, the diaphragm expands or drops down to allow the lungs to get more air. During exhalation, the diaphragm contracts or move upwards to expel the air.
THe Bronchi are not shaped as depicted here in the video. I am trying to find out just how the lungs work why they are designed as they are their is a reason the lungs are different shaped - I belive Oxygen is exchanged between the lungs and circulated between them and that is why they are shaped as they are - when you walk your arms swing and your rib cage pushes air between the lungs. ? I guess this is a simplified version of the lungs and its giving the basics but its important to know exactly how they work. The body is not exactly the same on both sides. facinating
@@martinpickr9582 Well I've yet to establish the existence of oxygen in the air as a constituent, so how can we breath oxygen if nobody can prove it's in the air? People only THINK they breathe oxygen !
this actually confuses me, inhalation occurs during the diaphragm contraction. I teach my students this way; the diaphragm is a dome- shaped muscle, so, at relaxing time it pushes the air outside (exhalation), while during contraction it goes down allowing lungs to get bigger and air to get in. (the shape of the muscle is the key).
This was a brilliant video. It covers everything very clearly and is a very professional video. The visuals and explanations are perfect for students.
Ok
Isn't it lol
Very nice video .....7 years later still very helpful for me 👍

making oxygenated cells look 'blue' seems counter intuitive otherwise, great video

This video shows the opposite of the way it actually works, correct?

4:50 to 6:59 would make a great out-of-context clip to jokingly insult someone's intelligence
Just fix the movement of the diaphragm muscle, the naming of bronchi or bronchiole and this is great.

Dat's true during inhalation d diaphragm moves downwards 4 space creation, and upwards during exhalation in oda 2 empty d system.

why did the red blood cells become blue AFTER oxygen went into them?
You are a fool
They're not blue that's just colour code for you to understand the real colours are red and darker red
Thank you
