First: love all the work that you do! Second: this video is perfect for me because I've been wanting to weather my flight suit and wasn't sure how to go about it. Definitely trying the black wash technique! Lots of great ideas too
Do the bolts poking through make it uncomfortable? It seems like it could be poking against your skin. Great channel and you do some awesome tutorials.
I ended up going with the same flight suit, only the short sleeved version. I also bought the matching Kolossus long sleeved shirt. So I can take the long sleeves off. Sew then under the short sleeves. That way I could pull off the double sleeve look. Ty ty ty ty ty ty ty for your awesome videos.
I got a set of coveralls I had in the garage brand new (Michael myers costume never happened) BUT I gotta figure out how to lengthen the torso because it’s pulling down on my shoulders and up where I don’t want😂
A CRL is a "Costume Requirement List" for joining the Mandalorian Mercs. It's a list of requirements your armor must me to be considered for application/membership to the mercs. The Mandalorian Mercs are a charity organization that sends their members to charity events, called "troops".
I've been thinking alot lately about making a full suit with a custom alloy of AgAl that is 85%aluminum, 10% silver and 5% "carbon-doped corrundum seed mix" (95% aluminum oxide, with the remainder being a blend of chromium and fine-micron charcoal dust). I don't know if it would be better to drop the powder into the molten AgAl, or to hammer and fold it into red hot sheets of the AgAl as if i were pattern welding... the objectives would be to increase the armor's melting point and hardness without greatly compromising it's ductility, machineablity or malleability, while impregnating it with micro-rubies that glow under a blacklight and create their own structure of hardness within the soft and malleable structure of the AgAl, if that makes sense? I want it to be able to shrug off a 9mm round at ⅜", and to be able to stop rifle rounds with less than ½" of thickness. I know chromium is alloyed with aluminum to increase hardness for aerospace applications, but I've never seen it done with a corundum seed mix. What do you think?
I download the kit but the file of the back they show in two part no one so i have problem to make it like yours do you have a video makin only the back, all be grateful with your help
What inaccuracies are you talking about? If you're making a canon character, like Din Djarin, you have to make it very accurate. But if you're making a custom mando, like he is in this video, you don't have to be as screen accurate. His build is inspired by the deathwatch concept art, but he's not making a deathwatch mando kit.
Damn, the stirrup elastic for the leg is such a simple idea never thought of it, thanks!
I like the minimalistic design of this armor. Almost like a "Grunt" Mando. Perfect for being slain by the dozens by a hero or a villain!
This would be the perfect base suit for a Mandalorian airsoft loadout, it's affordable and easily replaceable, thanks for the idea.😊

I was wondering the same thing
It's barely noticeable if the fit is good

How would you weather the flight suit?
