Emmet and his gang, the Seville Boulevard Families, are entrenched in Playa del Seville, their roots extending back to at least 1987. Their ties with the Grove Street Families and Temple Drive Families became strained over time, possibly due to differing views on the drug trade. Emmet, a key figure in the Seville Boulevard Families, operates a modest gun dealership in Willowfield, supplying arms to multiple factions despite stiff competition from Ammu-Nation. Although his stock is outdated, Emmet's connections with Carl, Sweet, Big Smoke, and Ryder remain intact, even if his merchandise sometimes falls short of expectations.

It sucks that characters like Emmet, big devil, tony and big Bear didn't make enough significant appearances in the story
Rockstar could have scrapped some of the latest characters like maccer and instead focused on improving their roles
The thing is, Maccer was a huge part of the early 90’s culture that was going on, and was voiced by Shaun Ryder a legend in British music

Edit: Emmet was never apart of Big Smoke’s plan, he only sold guns to the ballas, but he didn’t know the intentions of them.

Emmett was not talking about sweet when he said "Aint you dead?" he literally said "Brian! Say, aint you dead?". idk why he got him confused with a 10 year old though, maybe because he hasnt seen CJ in 5 years, or he just stupid idk.

Does anyone notice a tec 9 on sweet's home's roof ? And i think it signifies that it was meant for sweet and Beverley happened to be at a wrong place on wrong time and it was an inside job since other gangs used smgs , machine pistols and aks , but families mainly used tec 9 which is evident in drive by mission .

Giving that sweet was the one supposed to die in the drive by shooting yes I’m sure it makes no sense for him to confuse CJ with a 10 year old child giving that CJ looks around 20-25 in the game. I think he just confused the Johnson boys name rather than appearance. That just my take tho.

I feel like Emmet, B-Dup and Bear are the most overlooked characters. They had the least screentime in the game. and they appear early on the story. AT LEAST include the Ol' boy Emmet in the ending scene of GTA SA along with Madd Dogg and all.
This probably won't happen but they should have a mod of his backstory in the late 1960s to the early 1970s of Emmet with Seville Street Families

I look at it like this. Emmet is a businessman. He probably sells guns under the table to just about anyone with the green to make it happen. So of course he'd overhear bits and pieces by having his ear to the ground.
There's every likelihood given just how corrupt CRASH is they tolerate to outright facilitate his operation and lean on him as some sort of unofficial informant, a link to the underground itself without having to go through their usual channels. I don't think he's fully involved in the ins and outs of what's happening but he'd definitely overhear about most of it

Grove Street might have been around before the family umbrella as just a small neighborhood gang.
A lot of blood and crip gangs were regular neighborhood gangs who adopted the blood and crip names to their gang
They had to be around before then but the families gang didn’t start till 60s

I think Emmet was used as a scapegoat. With GSFdecling over the years, Emmet started to sell guns to the Ballas. Emmet repping SBF,probably didn't mind selling to the Ballas because they were already beefing with the GSF at the start of the game.

Grove Street is based off Compton Bloods. Ganton is Compton. The blocc that CJ, Sweet and Ryder live on is a dead giveaway. If you pay close attention you’ll notice Grove homies throwing up Bs periodically. Ballas is based off Watts Grape Street Crips. They even got the Watts Towers literally in Frontyards turf down the street from the ball court by the Ganton bridge. Ganton is right next to the Frontyards turf just like Compton is right next to Watts. Plus the Ballas periodically throw up Cs.
Facts. I heard a Ballas npc say "Ballas Cuzz"
