@SecretService80 the term "pistol" refers to a handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel, making pistols distinct from the other main type of handgun, the revolver, which has a revolving cylinder containing multiple chambers.
@GMELECTRONICS365 Revolvers do get jammed, just the risk is about 90% lower. I also believe that revolvers are needed. I just got my 4th revolver few months ago. I do wonder what kind of ammo they use.

Not enough security staff at the location. 2) A banner is needed to block the back of Abe, which is expose for shooter. If there is a banner to block the back of Abe, the shooter will not have a clear shot. 3)When the shooter fired the 1st shot, the 1st shot missed Abe. The body guard didn't push Abe to the ground to avoid the 2nd shot. 4) Body guards didn't use gun or taser to stop the shooter after the 1st shot missed Abe. this is training, not the real motorcade. I wonder....that was a Lexus LS430 with a toyota badge...japanese regular cars are Luxury cars here. a good example was the G35 in the motorcade with a Nissan badge..i bet there would be an Acura TL with a Honda Accord badge there too
