Ateez has a storyline which in short is about being in alternate dimensions in which the government controls human emotions (like movie: Equilibrium). So Ateez tries to fight them by using music & dance to evoke the emotions. My recommendation if you want an unexpected pattern of music is their HALAZIA. If you want many synth then their CYBERPUNK (no MV but the music experience will not disappoint) If you want anthem then their WONDERLAND. And many more genre. I'll tell you more in your next Ateez reaction. Anticipating more of Ateez from you both!
as a fellow alt person and metal fan who also digs kpop, ateez is definitely the move. they have some of the best music in the genre. i'm bts army at my core but ateez? severely underrated. the bops never stop.

Ateez (you said it correctly) are awesome. They're in my top 4 of groups. They're the only kpop group (other than BTS) that I've seen in concert so far. It was a smaller space than BTS obvs, arena vs stadium, it was intimate and cool. Jongho's vocals are so insane I had to slightly cover my ears in concert (not in a bad way) his voice so powerful he didn't need a mic! 💜

yeah, it's Aye-Teez (kinda like eight-teez). they're very heavy on storyline and lore (and I never fully understand it😅). Guerrilla is one of my favorite songs, others are Halazia, Wonderland and Hala Hala. They're very known for their hype and high energy songs and performances, but they also do some really good slow/emotional songs. Turbulence is one of those songs that I love

They do have an ongoing storyline. Each album series is like a book and the albums are like chapters. Guerrilla is the first episode in The World series from The World EP 1: Movement. You were on track with a coup. Guerrilla means a small unregulated fighting force, so surprise isn't required though surprise is often a way for a small band of fighters to get the upper hand. ATEEZ has a lot of great songs, but I recommend watching the MVs for the other title tracks in this series in order (Halazia, Bouncy, and their latest release Crazy Form) so the MVs will make a bit more sense. There's a fair amount of variety in their tracks, I think Halazia will be a surprise after Guerrilla. Thanks for checking out ATEEZ!

For recent B-sides without MVs i really love Silver Light, Dune or Wake Up!! I would recommend some listening parties for their albums because that’s how I fell in love with ateez. Their live performance is one of their biggest assets and their sound is really specific even within kpop. I love everything about Ateez but those are my biggest highlights: albums and performance skills. Though their storyline is really fun too
Favorite songs aside, not saying it is not one of them, but after guerrilla you should definitely watch Halazia. It's a must to watch it right after guerrilla.
Trying to narrow it down to favorites is really hard 😂 At the moment their latest Crazy Form is stuck in my head. My favorite song however is a ballad titled Be With You. I’m a sucker for a good ballad and personally this is no lie the most beautiful one I’ve ever heard. ( Though I could listen to a full album of Jongho from Ateez singing nothing but ballads and be completely happy )

They have a nickname as the ‘last 30 second idols’ due to their tendency to have explosive ending to their songs. For true music fans, what really sets Ateez apart are their B-sides. They have an incredibly full discography that incorporates a lot of genres, but still has an Ateez signature sound. KQ is the company they are under and are known for being pretty reactor friendly. I haven’t seen a reactor have any issues with any content from their channel.

Halazia by Ateez 👍🏻. Theory about the blimps and fliers, they could be using distraction to divert attention away from the real targets 🤷🏻♀️. Ateez are like BTS, once you start listening to them you can’t stop. They have a real talent at being able to mix genres well and are so unique.
I really hope you two could check out more Ateez songs, I think of the leaflets when Nagasaki and Hiroshima was nuked, however I don’t know if it was true or not if the US used it to threaten or to tell citizens to evacuate since I heard that Nagasaki was nuked before the leaflets were dropped but I think Ateez used leaflets to tell everyone that shit is going down. And like the Guerrilla background is propaganda for the metropolis poster. Perfect scenes for the perfect song. There’s so much WW2 references which I love. I’m sure that someone else already commented this but Ateez lore runs through their songs and visually through the music videos. This music video is from a dystopian world called ‘Z’ and the city called “Strictland” where the people are controlled by the government. No emotions are allowed, no music is allowed to be played and all sort of art (paintings etc) all the way to the art of dance is strictly banned. That’s why Ateez are rebelling against the government, hence to all the anarchy symbols. The lyrics mention it as well, as they described it with “disappearing emotion, expression is losing the light, laughter is controlled, Only numbness left. Wake up world” in their lyrics. But also in the second rap verse when Mingi says that music is the weapon. Personally, I’m a lore NERD and I just love how they’re not just making music but they’re actually putting their storyline into their lyrics.

We’re a very loud and boisterous group/fandom btw. I blame Wooyoung. Ateez has 3-4 universes they inhabit. One is trying to turn everyone into sheeple with no creativity or expression. Our leader, who we refer to as Captain, because Ateez has a pirate/rebel theme, is the one who originally ripped his face off. He’s the leader of the Demon Line. He’s hinted that we haven’t even seen half of the lore…which might just be going backwards! My current favorite song is Django! Actually, I love every song on their album The World Ep2: Outlaw. I feel like Answer and Wave are underrated. Maybe Thanxx also. Ateez is one of my favorite groups, I vibe with both their music and personalities.
Halazia by Ateez 👍🏻. Theory about the blimps and fliers, they could be using distraction to divert attention away from the real targets 🤷🏻♀️. Ateez are like BTS, once you start listening to them you can’t stop. They have a real talent at being able to mix genres well and are so unique.
I really hope you two could check out more Ateez songs, I think of the leaflets when Nagasaki and Hiroshima was nuked, however I don’t know if it was true or not if the US used it to threaten or to tell citizens to evacuate since I heard that Nagasaki was nuked before the leaflets were dropped but I think Ateez used leaflets to tell everyone that shit is going down. And like the Guerrilla background is propaganda for the metropolis poster. Perfect scenes for the perfect song. There’s so much WW2 references which I love. I’m sure that someone else already commented this but Ateez lore runs through their songs and visually through the music videos. This music video is from a dystopian world called ‘Z’ and the city called “Strictland” where the people are controlled by the government. No emotions are allowed, no music is allowed to be played and all sort of art (paintings etc) all the way to the art of dance is strictly banned. That’s why Ateez are rebelling against the government, hence to all the anarchy symbols. The lyrics mention it as well, as they described it with “disappearing emotion, expression is losing the light, laughter is controlled, Only numbness left. Wake up world” in their lyrics. But also in the second rap verse when Mingi says that music is the weapon. Personally, I’m a lore NERD and I just love how they’re not just making music but they’re actually putting their storyline into their lyrics.

Ateez, pronounced A-Tease. Stands for A-Teenage-Z, or A-Z. Our fandom is Atiny (A-Tee-Ni) which is Ateez + Destiny. We’re also in a rather successful marriage with Stray Kids and Stay. We’re a very loud and boisterous group/fandom btw. I blame Wooyoung.
Ateez has 3-4 universes they inhabit. One is trying to turn everyone into sheeple with no creativity or expression.
Our leader, who we refer to as Captain, because Ateez has a pirate/rebel theme, is the one who originally ripped his face off. He’s the leader of the Demon Line. He’s hinted that we haven’t even seen half of the lore…which might just be going backwards! Ateez usually connect their MVs, collabs and live performances into the lore with Easter Eggs for Atiny to find.
I highly recommend their debut, but not just any debut! I recommend their Zombies version of Pirate King.

Saw them live this August, one of the best days of my life, i totally recommend everything but my faves are songs like Treasure (one of their debut songs), Mist, Cyberpunk, Halazia, Dune, Utopia, and i could go on all day.
