It is intensely annoying that I found this video only now. Around the summer break last year, I started a Google Sheet to find out what F1 without Red Bull would be like at that moment. I kept that spreadsheet up to date for myself, but eventually I figured I could turn that into a video at the end of the year. That was a fairly optimistic idea, given I'd never really done a video like that before, so I checked several times if someone else had done this while I was figuring out how to do my video. I found a few videos that were basically just an animated graph with no commentary, and LawVS did a commentated video with this idea during the summer break, but RUclips didn't show me your video here. So I continued working on my video, unaware that someone else had already made exactly what I was doing. I finished my video one day before 2024 pre season testing started, and only now do I find this video. YT actually recommended me your most recent video on the 2016 season, which got me thinking "hey, what if this channel also did this on the 2023 season?", only then did I discover this video. At least our two videos on the same topic are different in style, so I don't think my video is completely redundant. Yours is significantly longer, going into the results of every race, whereas I condensed the main narrative of Alonso vs Hamilton and the other race winners into a much shorter video, with some added memes. It was interesting to see another person's approach on the same topic, so I really enjoyed your video. So to answer the question you asked at the very beginning, no, you weren't the only one who was curious what the 2023 season would've looked like without Red Bull.
Glad to know it wasnt just me keeping track of this (I got curious in the summer break, looked over all the results before then and then updated it live afterwards)
When I watched your video on the 2020 season without Mercedes & Red Bull, and it got me wondering, what would the 2023 championship standings (both drivers & constructors) be if Red Bull were not on the grid? I'm glad I found it here!
We are now halfway through 2024, and I think the video that you will do at the end of the year without certain teams or drivers is currently shaping up to be 2024 without Verstappen and Norris, because of the amount of times they have finished so close to eachother, and Sergio Perez underperforming in the RB20 I also thought of another season to do: 2008 without Hamilton & Massa
Trash car? What the car that was practically equal 3rd best with McLaren. Yeah slower than Ferrari but not by a lot and Ferrari fucked up anyway. That Merc wasn't slow
@@gamingfists1600 Brazil is a power track that requires high top speed, the only thing the Merc didn't have That's like saying the redbull was the 5th best car and Singapore is an example of that
Ooh 2014-2016 especially without Mercedes could be quite good, and so could 2019. 2017 and 2018 though from having a quick initial thought about it I feel might be a little straight forward with Vettel kinda reliving his RB days but in red, but 2014-16 and 2019 without Mercedes would be a great shout!
Blimey. That twenty minute video was far more interesting than the 20+ races of the actual season. Reminded me of the videos Chain Bear used to put out before he disappeared off RUclips. Sadly, it highlights what a dull and uncompetitive season 2023 was so let's hope Mercedes and Ferrari can put together some kind of challenge for 2024. We KNOW you're going to make the 2020/21 video.
I am thinking about something along those lines, 2020 and 2021 I do plan on without RB as well because it's a lot more interesting, and I have plans to eventually definitely do 2014-2016 and 2019 without Merc (2017 and 2018 we'll see, even thought I think it'd just be a cake walk for Vettel I might do it anyways cause it still might be interesting)
10 years have passed and even in a alternate world,Alonso still fumbles the 3rd title 😭
Yup 😭
Abu Dabi would have been immaculate with Merc vs Ferrari and Alonso vs Ham

In conclusion, it went from one of the most boring seasons in history (if not the most boring) to an absolute classic

This was the video that basically started this entire series I've started! Now it's just snowballing...

The fact that Hamilton is still so good with that trash of a car he had in 2023 proves how much of a champion he is. Well done Lewis 🐐💜
Yup, have to agree with you there

first things first
yuki tsunoda would score like 10x more points
Canada Should have been hulkenburg pole sad for that grid penalty
I love to see 2014 to 2021 without Mercedes.

If Leclerc had luck he would’ve walked this championship

Oh yeah I'm definitely gonna to the 2020 and 2021 videos
@@ItsMaryWork No fixing it so Charles wins
Chain Bear would definitely make a video like this
11:01 if Perez didn't hit Albon he wouldve been ahead of Magnussen
I love the work for this video!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed!😁
Love this form of video
I would like to say thank you for the hours of work you put in making this video and I love it 💜
Your brain power is Amazing
Can you do every race of the 2023 season without the top three finishers?
Alonso bottled it worse than 2010😭
He actually did 😭
...😏 Damn, woukda been a crazy good season! 😅
Up to hulk the standings are the same
what would the results be if only red bull was competing, please make video
Nick De Vries would still get dropped by Helmut 😢
Tbh the whole Nyck de vries thing didn't really come to my mind if anything would be different, because I genuinely forgot about him for the most part
@@ItsMaryWork I get that. I wrote that before I watched the video. And then he still didn't get points. It made me chuckle.
Basically what i got from this video is that redbull needs to be kicked from the sport lol
I mean without them it definitely would've been a better season than it actually was
Why kick a team for doing a good job? Other teams gotta step up more next year
@@wouterk4160 I said this because the sport would have been more entertaining, and obviously I dont mean it as i said "lol" at the end
Do a video without Mercedes for the whole 2014-2021

Story of Alonsos career
Yup. He does a great job, looks like he might be on for title number 3... and then somehow he misses out in the end
Another dead youtube channel trying to give shamilton a title 🤣🤣🤣
she did it with every year
