Whichever country or whoever it might be, it's not okay to laugh at em like that bud.. 😒 Cuz you never know how and what kind of situations and living state/lifestyle that you yourself or that of your loved one might derive into and face one day in the future. Things might drastically change and derail to the worst at any moment in time, one day you might be doing just fine, just like thee other you might find yourself in the exact same spot of that person that you were once making fun of in the past.. Especially when making fun of people who became victims of substance abuse, where they have nobody to turn to, literally no one else to back em up.. Being trapped and stuck into that hell of a dark hole in which there's little to zero hopes and success of them coming back, to return to their old normal selves where life was worth living for, filled with ambitions, success dreams, happiness and the drive of delivering only what's best for themselves as future plans.. Just to say that these peeps were once "normal" just like you as of now, but although considering the fact that they might be at their worse today, with often times no job and money to support themselves and their addiction, not to mention most of the time having no roof over their heads, struggling and barely managing to handle and face off the harshness of society, they are still humans just like any other yeah, they didn't turn into some kinda animals or whatever that should be subjected to mistreatment or become a laughing stock..* 😒

I am very happy that you are showing this side of USA. US media and politicians are always lecturing the world especially India about human rights and what not but fail to look after their own people and the problems that they face. Many of these homeless are often former armed forces personnel, who fought for USA but now have been forgotten and rejected. Earlier they used to travel to India and other countries to watch poverty, now we will travel to USA to watch this human crises.
