He didn't manipulate her, he treated her like a human and gave her the option to end it all, something no one had ever done before.
manipulation isnt about treating people like shit, its about what you say/do vs. your true intentions, Eren's goal was never to "rescue" or "save" Ymir, he just wanted her power, and he realized the way to obtaining that was to treat her like a human when none did, that's why its manipulation (its all my point of view tho)

I don't know, In my way to see it's the completely opposite. And it was said there. "You've been waiting, havent you? All the time". Ymir was using Eren as a puppet without strings all the time. The rumbling and the titas was ended not because Eren wants, but because Ymir was finally able free yourself and the eldians. She was the one that give up. And only Eren will be able to let her free, as we all agreed. All the time because she knew that only Eren personality (formed by his own characteristics and by the society he's included) would make the freedom possible for her.
I think Erens will for freedome is actually ymirs manifestation. For so long she has wanted to be free and Erens obsessive nature to sacriface everything for it cimes actually from her.
