Been watching jabs since the beginning when I was in 8th grade and was going to flee markets with his brother and trying to grow his brothers channel crazy to see how much he has grown. Now I’m a hear out of high school and still watch his videos every day to see what products I want to buy. Love watching these videos to see the kind of products I want to buy in the future when I have the money for it and hopefully become a patron member. Love ya Jabs!!!
Oh come on… I’ve got a pile of fifty cent autos that I was excited to pull. That’s a big name and the cover athlete. Still a great pull. You make it sound like he was yelling like he does sometimes. 🙄
I bought an immaculate box got 2 one of one's Owen Murphy and Masataka Yoshida. My Murphy has a massive scratch but working with Panini to make it right.
Love ya Jabs! Fun Video. I had a sweet video idea, March Madness - $2000 Tuesday brotha, High end vs. Lower/Middle End to see who wins the ULTIMATE Battle 🔥🔥🔥 A Big Set is dropping on and it's beloved by many, Donruss Football. It would be sweet to see a box opening of Donruss Hobby Football in the Steel City. Have a great one
Honest question: do the people mentioned (“opening this for _______”) get to keep the cards shown? Are the cards sold for them and they keep the profit? Etc. Just curious as to how this works. 😄
One of my favorite autos is of a player that was in the NFL for one season. Now a high school coach. The signature covers the whole face of the card. Pride in making it that far. Initials are not an auto.
I do like this channel and watch it everyday but, in my honest opinion, Topps is going to throw the hobby into another junk card era but they will make sure they make their $$$$ along the way with these overpriced cards. Still, with that said, I really enjoy watching these box breaks and it's done with such enthusiasm.
I don’t think it’s being lazy and sloppy with signatures as much as it’s having to sign a million cards/stickers. I don’t like the crappy signatures, but I get it.
Exactly, the guys in the 80s and 90s didn't have to deal with the stacks of thousands of cards to sign for a single product. It sucks, but I don't blame them one bit when they gotta sign hundreds/thousands of times for each of the 50 different products between Topps and Panini.
And they're kids and the players from outside the US play baseball full time and go to school for the minimum and instead eat/breathe baseball development till they get signed/picked.
@@SynthPatel Players from the '80s have been signing cards for a lot of years and their autographs today are still better than the current player autographs.
You think you can get an 8 on your 1971 Topps Nolan Ryan? That is a tremendously hard set to get good grades because of the black borders and edges. You just need to send it in to PSA or SGC and see what you get. An PSA 8 on that card would be worth couple thousand dollars. The cost of grading will go by your declared value, so SGC would still be probably $24 or whatever it is now and PSA would be standard cost or the next tier up, so like $85. Just look on the websites
@@HaloHobbyCards I just send in my 1971 Nolan Ryan to SGC and came back Authentic, color added. I was like WTF 😂...I'm going to crack out and send to PSA. It's actually in very good shape, potential 6-7 range.
@@floridamaddogg ok I hate you 😂 haha. A six or seven wow congratulations! I hope you get it. Heck, let's go for an 8!💰 That's really great! Seriously congrats on that card! I know the market's down right now but for vintage you'll be fine. You know that.
@@HaloHobbyCards thanks man! I've been collecting Nolan Ryan since 1988 and have had most these cards socked away safely in my childhood closet at my parents House 😂....I just got back into grading things the past couple of years. I sold a 1970 and 1972 Nolan Ryan (graded SGC 8 and PSA 8.5) this year already. Did pretty well considering I paid very little for them two decades ago😂
Terrible production control on the Bowman Chrome. A ridiculous amount of the cards have scratches at top. I won't buy this product. I have seen badly cut edges on much of the Cosmic Chrome with few inserts. The Bowman Chrome (3) auto product almost never pays even close to its $400 price tag and also has scratches on most every card. Topps should be ashamed! Righteous!😢

Nice Uribe, met him in Milwaukee, he’s something else!
That Colson Montgomery with a button is cool!
lots of nice autos. cosmic is such a well designed set.
Hi Jabs - any idea when the $51 tier boxes with be shipped for September? Thx.
That Elijah Green auto you’re hyping up just sold for $12
😂😂😂😂😂 Preach
And thats why you don’t buy Bowman. What sells for 50 bucks on Monday sells for 5 on Wednesday.

Hi Erik, thank you for a fun video. These are some great boxes. Keep up the great work.
Gunnar is such a big favorite for AL ROY that Fan Duel took the line down.
Yeah the planet one I pulled a corben caroll the furthest away
Tanner Bibee for AL RoY
Still fun. Thx Jabs
Thanks for the awesome video Jabs! Preciate it!! 🙏

Yes. We always get the cards 😂 then most people either keep or sell them personally
Well I'm not sure about all states but in Tennessee they stopped teaching cursive handwriting in schools about 8 years ago for some reason
The kids aren't being taught much of anything useful these days.
They are dumbing the kid's, down 😮

I got the same Yoshida in my box.
I like to see open up some 2024 packs at Bowman
Autographs became horrible because they stopped teaching cursive handwriting in school.
Logan's pull from the retired Signature Series is a prime example of why the prices have dipped. Just not enough hits for the price point.
Prices of that product dip substantially from release, every year. It’s never that good lol.
Can anyone buy a box from you. And you can send it unopened????

That and cursive isn't taught anymore so getting a nice auto will become rarer and rarer as time goes on.
