- The actual footage of the audition held by TOEI company for new series named "Kamen Rider BLACK". Tetsuo KURATA was successfuly chosen to be Koutarou MINAMI. The total number of applicant reached to 8,100!
He already wore that iconic jacket since the first time ;)

When you realized they didnt change anything to Tatsuo's appearance for the show. His hair and the way he dresses are the same, he really embodies Kamen Rider Black. ❤ Hes so handsome.

Just goes to show how people age differently: the creator of Kamen Rider there (with the white hair and sunglasses) was 49 years old that year. (he died in 1998 from heart failure at 59 yrs old)
Tetsuo was 18/19 then and is now 52 and still looks young for his age.
