She was captured the Palestinian people during the Hamas attack, the Hamas didn't get to her as hostage, she escaped and was taken by the Palestinian and was killed by the people there. Hamas may have planned to hold hostages, but her death was getting caught by the people that supported Hamas.

Yes, they found bodies but were sent back to Israel for identification. That's how several bodies taken in Oct 7 were retrieved and laid to rest. This was a few months ago though. However, these three bodies were recently found in a tunnel, according to the report. They were murdered early, probably on the same day of the attack in Oct 7, and their bodies taken for ransom. Not every hostage was taken alive, mind you.
This isn{t the first time Hamas does something like this. They took hostage two young conscripts years ago, murdered them, and their bodies (or remains, at this point.) are still in Gaza somewhere. Probably in the tunnel network.
Regarding how long bodies can withstand the elements, very long and it depends on the weather. The middle east is very arid, bodies take longer to bloat if at all. It's far more common for bodies to mummify than bloat and wither. There's also the tunnel, the tunnel is cooler than the surface, which wouldn't surprise me if it kept the bodies from fully decomposing or delaying composition for a while.

That’s still very sad however, it was proven by the UN that the number of deceased persons was actually lower than what Hamas was saying. Hamas was exaggerating the number of dead. Hamas also included their solders in the number of deceased. The real number of dead people is around 10,000 - 15,000 which is awful however you must remember that Gaza is an extremely urban dense environment and when IDF soldiers are trying to fight against terrorist who know their surroundings and the IDF soldiers don’t… that’s where it gets tricky.

This reminds me of Attack on the Titans, in one small area completely isolated from the rest of the globe, some "human animals" trying to survive under the blockad, gets attacked by jet fighters and drone from time to time.
