  • The Cuban Revolution is one of the most important events in Latin America, after Batista initiated a coup, many lawyers, students and such broke out in revolution, with many notable men including Fidel Castro, his brother and Che Guevara fighting against the US-backed government, the revolution would be a success, and would be the beginning of the American theater of the Cold War.

      There’s a difference between a revolution and a civil war.
      It’s kinda complicated but I’ll try to explain.
      Now, In most cases, a civil war can only happen after a revolution. (That’s not always the case).
      Ok, I have an idea, I’ll use America as an example.
      The United States has a revolution against the original government (the British Empire) and won their revolution, then the American rebels were established as the new government.
      Then, later on, the American government had a split, between the northern republicans and the southern democrats.
      That was a civil war.
      Actually, no, now I think about it, that was a shitty example.
      Cuba actually did the same thing, they had a war of independence against Spain, then they did this war decades later.
      Oh shit bro, you might be right.

    • @cubanoloquito
      @cubanoloquito Год назад +4

      Well, in a civil war, usually it's the citizens or two governments in the same country that fight against each other (just like in the American Civil War) while in a revolution, it's usually a certain group, independent from the citizens, that fights against the government
