    Hi I am a fan of your channel from Northern Ireland. Over here we have to put all airguns on a FAC, this includes sub-twelve.
    I was looking for a .25 FAC rife and this gun caught my eye.
    I currently have an FX Crown Mark II, I can get a 10 shot group through roughly in the same hole.
    Do you think the Kral's could match the FX? I am a firm believer in not blindly just following a big brand. I have had issues with the feed on both my FX magazines and one still fails to feed from time to time, with three pellets still left in the mag. The gun also has issues with not feeding from the mag and it is easy to double feed if not disciplined. lt is only my opinion, but FX needs to go away and rethink their mags. I and another friend with an FX Wildcat both had mag issues.
    I used to like the saying "Is it soldier proof" sometimes the more basic the better as long as it works.

    I've got one !!! I've had no problems with the accuracy with mine , I'm shooting Daystate Kaiser pellets 8.6 , spot on at 70 metres ,it's loud but it's fine on the range .it's not back garden friendly.l tried RWS Superdome 8.4 they shot pretty much the same, the Daystate just edge's them

The Airgun Centre in Essex do some great deal packages on these and will deliver next day to your nearest RFD. Thinkin back i can remeber all my pellets mint and on target. Brakeneck airrifles are accurate. PCP cannot compete because of the air released everytime the hammer strikes the valve. It is not controlled to a standard where you can be satisfied where it must work everytime to the same effectiveness . It just wont give you complete satisfaction in what you are trying to do if you want perfection. Old school rules.

Very nice out the box, crisp and predictable. Also has a adjustable trigger shoe. The updated version I guess. I see in your other video the barrel was the issue. Im wondering how much use that rifle has had? Ive had guns that new or after cleaning seemed very fussy but after a lot of leading in (500 pellets or more sometimes) ended up shooting just about anything well.

      @airgunsniper-elite7385  4 года назад +2

      Dave Palmer tells me he has had it about eight months. He thought it was his scope that was the problem, but I fitted my own, so not the scope. I probably put nearly a tin full through it myself over the last few days. LOL.

      @@airgunsniper-elite7385 The rangemasters seemed to be grouping better on the second try. I'd try shooting a ton of those through it. JSB do make different diameter pellets. I think they do 4.5, 4.51, and 4.52 in 0.177 cal. Maybe try another smaller pellet through it. I was wondering if it is the choke in the barrel? Most shops just stock the 4.52 or 5.52 pellets I have found. Maybe they are too big for the choke?

    Morning Mark, really enjoying all your videos, on this particular pellet test on Dave's Kral rifle may be worth trying single loading if possible to eliminate any damage that the multi shot loading magazine may be causing, the usual suspect the moderator has been removed witch has narrowed down the poor grouping with the most popular pellets used by many of us, stay safe bud 👍

      Thanks John, I did load some into the breach by hand to no avail. Cliff Kirkman is now on the case with two options. Option one: cut the barrel down, re crown and baffle the shroud. Option two: Fit a cold hammer forged BSA barrel and baffle the shroud. It will be interesting to review the rifle when it's complete. I spoke with Dave Palmer and Cliff this morning and Cliff has now got the rifle.

    Hi Mark watched this video this morning, really enjoyed it. It was good to see you trying to work through the issues with this gun. I don't think I have ever seen such a pellet fussy barrel. Astonishing to think it was the very first pellet you tried was the one that ended up being the best 🙄 could you give a update on what happend in the end. Was a new barrel fitted ? Did it sort the problem out ? Its good to see other shooters issues as sometimes you can think you are the only one who has the odd problem 👍hope the weather picks up or even calms down so you can get down the range soon. Like you I am getting shooting withdrawal symptoms 🤣 In fact as I look out of the window it's snowing here this morning ☃️👍aaaaagh!

      @airgunsniper-elite7385  2 года назад +1

      Thanks Garry,
      I the end it turned out to be a bad barrel, as it didn't even center with the shroud. Instead of sending it back he sold it to one of our members who fitted a BSA barrel, and now shoots like a lazer. He then sold it to another member that liked the upgrade. If I can find out who bought it I'll do another review. It even looked better, as the barrel and shroud were shorter.

    I have one of these in .22 and it shoots 3 out of 5 pellets I've put through it. One was a little worse, one poor. Could it be the mags? These should come with a single shot tray, be worth a go with one! The Krals are known to shoot noticeably better with one, and would maybe rule out a dodgy mag.

    • @airgunsniper-elite7385
      @airgunsniper-elite7385  4 года назад +2

      Hello Rob,
      After giving it to Cliff Kirkman to look at he found out that the barrel was bent. When the end cap came off the shroud the barrel was touching the side of the shroud. He put it in his laith. cut the barrel down by about five inches, and straightened it. He did some test firing with it and it now shoots a lot better with different pellets. I am surprised that i got it to shoot with the Daystate 10.3 grain pellets considering how bad it was. I also found out afterwards that Dave Palmer had purchased it second hand from a shop in Leicestershire, so not a fair comparrison to a new one. Hopefully I will get back to this rifle soon and update everyone on how it performs now. It did surprise me considering that the original barrel of the bullpup puncher breaker had problems. After that with the Mk2 models they had improved their barrels, so you would think all their barrels would have been upgraded, which they probably were. I think this one was a bad example of one from the second hand market.

      Yes, a suppressor can usually change the point of impact once fitted. Some do a similar job as an air stripper, but it's not nice when they don't work at all. I have the BSA VC silencer on my R10 with no problems, but I know from other R10 users that they can also be pellet fussy. My rifle is not pellet fussy, but it isn't standard. It's a fully tuned Ratworks rifle, so maybe that has sorted any usual issues out.
