I'm thinking of importing another car when the channel is monetized and picking it up in Vancouver and driving it back to the Maritimes. 7000kms in a sight unseen vehicle with no safety inspection or registration! What do you think?
On those relays what’s the one nearest the wheel to the right of the green? My 1980 280zx automatic doesn’t have this and I’m not sure if that’s the reason for it not cranking
Thank you for the help, I’m currently trying out your method of shorting the starter but no help. I already replaced starter and it makes the same noises as in the video so hopefully it’s just the same fix and not some missing fuse/relay

Next time I'm over there I'll try to check the manual. I vaguely remember the manual suggesting that the 81-83 wiring diagram was different.

The ignition cylinder ended up being part of the issue here where we needed to force the key really hard and it would contact.
