- Hello, Beautiful! In todays’s Chit Chat GRWM, I’ll be discussing the loss of my grandmother and how I’m coping with the grief while applying full glam makeup. Dealing with grief and loss is not easy. This has been a super stressful and sad time in my life. I’m hoping to encourage anyone else going through the same thing. My condolences....both my parents passed in 2012, and my grief process hit me way later on...I can relate to alot that you said especially the not being able to call my mother. I agree praying is what has gotten me through. ❤️The look!

Hey Sis! I am SO proud of your for sharing your story. Death is hard and grief is a process that hits everyone differently. I lost my father at the end of 2020. It was rather sudden and while not totally unexpected, definitely felt like it happened without warning. I loved my father dearly, but I know that could not possibly compare to the thought losing my mother. My heart truly goes out to you during this difficult time. You are doing the right things for sure. Grief is a roller coaster of feelings and emotions as you never get over the loss of the loved one, but bye and bye you do get through it. She sounded like an amazing lady, and proof positive is the woman that you are. Thank you again for sharing this with us. I really loved this platform of a video where you chat with us while doing your makeup. Hoping to see more like these from you in the future.

Thank you so much Tessa, I truly enjoyed this type of video, it's so ironic that you touched on this subject........I recently loss my sister, it was an unexpected loss and I've not been well with it at all. We just celebrated me graduating from college and then in mid- July she passed...........I can't sleep, eat just the same as you, I've lost a lot of weight, but the way I see it is, "hey I wanted to slim down a little anyway"......but I see that people are looking at me in a concerned manner.......I'm trying or I want to try, but this is so hard, you see I lost my mother in "2019", so my sister had really taken on the role of not just big sister, but like a parent and it felt great, she lived in STL and I lived here in SAN, finishing college, but we talked/texted often. Now every night when I go to bed, I just convince myself that I'm going to wake-up and this "bad dream" would be over..........it's been 33 days since her passing, and I still can't have a conversation without crying over this........Can you give me more information and perhaps a point-of-contact for that "betterhelp" reference? It's hard to talk to the rest of my family, to me it seems that everyone else is doing fine or maybe they're just coping with this better than I have, but I could really use someone to talk to that can relate to my sorrow. Thank you and please do more "chit-chat GRWMs".
Hi Nikita! You are so welcome, sis. You are not alone. I can totally relate with everyone else seeming fine and moving forward, but you personally not being ok. It is truly an isolating feeling at times. It almost feels like they don’t understand the gravity of what that person truly meant to you. Just continue taking it one day at a time.
