This could be really helpful for some people, especially if you travel a lot. For myself, though, I have never owned an iron or anything similar to that. I feel that’s what the dryer is for. Today, you can buy a lot of clothes in materials that don’t wrinkle & I avoid buying anything that I know will absolutely be a wrinkle nightmare.
I feel like you didn't really hear what they said in the video. They started the company because at the beginning of their professional careers, they lived in a tiny apartment with no dryer and no space for an ironing board. I live in an apartment and I don't want to pay $1.50 to use the communal dryer. Some people are not that fortunate to have a washer and dryer directly in their home. A lot of my dresses are linen, linen is a great, sustainable fabric, but it is known for wrinkling and it needs to be ironed. So I use products like these to press wrinkles out of my dresses. I much prefer cotton and linen, natural fabrics that are more prone to wrinkling, than the synthetic fabrics that are manufactured today. Especially when new research is coming out that there are microplastics in our brain tissue, and being found in every major organ in the body.
Kudos to these women for their perseverance and hard work! However, raising 300k from family and friends translates to privilege. I hope ppl who still think we have a level playing field in society, thinks twice, at the very least.
