and about the "not getting alot of fame" thing, bfdi's first elimination had a grand total of 6 votes when they started, that's less than the people up for voting in that episodes and look at how far they have come
Fr I don’t need help I have 10 characters I voice act, write, and animate with 6 more I’m thinking of adding and I’m still going so to be honest, you don’t need a big crew to make something good, just make it from the bottom of you heart do what you want and need.
Confidence is literally the worst thing about me. I have started so many projects at once, SOMEHOW THINKING I’LL FINISH THEM EVERY TIME WHEN I HAVEN’T FINISHED ANY OF THEM AAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH
I have wanted to make something in the OSC ever since I first discovered the fandom 6 years ago. But every time I came up with an idea, I always turned around on it. I dialed back the ambition I had for my show idea several different times and brought it down to the absolute most bare essentials to simplify the act of _getting started,_ yet I would come up with any excuse I could to procrastinate and delay the actual undertaking of show development. But only recently did I realize that the only thing that ends up doing is killing any and all drive to actually go through with the project. Even if whatever I were to make ends up being the most mid, formulaic, and forgettable thing imaginable... at least it'd finally be out there. And with that, it'll be easier to take anything I made afterwards and improve upon what came before. There's such a self-destructive notion that whatever you make and post first has to be top of the class and able to compete with (I hate using this term) """""the big guys""""" just to be worth anything to people, but that kind of thinking takes away the whole point as to why we make stuff to begin with. We create the things that we do because we have passion for our ideas. ...It always feels weird to get personal about something as silly as object shows, but that last point really cut deep for me, so maybe someone can get something out of this. :')

While Im on my way to create a non-competiton object show, been a lot of pitfalls trying to make it "perfect" which is only stalling the plans to even begin it, and this video helps me realize that more then ever, it is confidence inspiring, especially near the end. (case and point took alot of confidence to even type all this 😭)
As someone who currently has an object show, and wants to start another one soon, I think this was rlly helpful. I think burnout and confidence might be the biggest problems for me, but I’m usually able to use my own style to make it unique.
I got burnt out by the first iteration of my show, because I didn’t really like the show at all. The writing was bad, voice acting was bad, the animation wasn’t that good either, because I had such an unorganized crew that made the show take forever. I’ve learned from those mistakes, and i’ve started off fresh! Same characters with some new additions, the writing is MILES better than the old first episode. I’ve done a pretty good job at organizing stuff. No more creating animation without voices lines, I can actually remember who’s an animator, or voice actor. I’m finally confident with the show! The first episode isn’t out yet, but it’ll probably take less time than it took to only create HALF of an episode for the previous rendition.

To add on to the last point, this can apply to literally anything. Not only am I a voice actor for an upcoming object show, but I’m also writing my own fan projects. Occasionally I think to myself, “Am I really doing this? Is this even good enough for the readers?” and I’ll just review what I have, fix any mistakes, and continue, because I’m proud of myself and my work.

Honestly this is making me feel better about my attempt at making my object show. A lot of my issues stem from trying to plan ahead through several episodes, but I finally managed to start focusing on the first episode and have been starting a storyboard(written and drawn) and backgrounds, but I’m probably going to have a bunch of people help out with backgrounds the most for the first episode since I just want to first episode to set the ground for what I want to make. I often rethink the idea I came up with because I compare it to other shows, but I’ve been getting better at focusing on what I want to make, over what I assume people want me to make. This video has definitely helped with reassuring me that my own show is hopefully going to be pretty good once I finally start with the animation and get more people who’re willing to help with more episodes(I just gotta ask some people for background help, lol)!!
I am currently in the process of making the first episode of Elemental Paradise and I waited a long time before actually animating it. I at first thought I was procrastinating but I realized that my animation skills have improved a lot since when I wanted to do so at first.
4:00 use FlipaClip 0:44 take inspiration from my favorite show.i sure did cause on jacknjellifys channel their are algebralian and I made a show called the power of eighteen (TPOET) it’s season two of my show HOS (hotline object show) but season 1 and 2 are just something for me to play with it’s just made for fun and this kinda helped my a lot and this gave my a bit of inspiration to start back HOS and season 1 & 2 don’t have script I just make it to have fun see where it goes and just enjoy it (: thx for this lovely video
I started my object show on June 11, 2021. I was 11 or 12 at the time. I didn't know how to animate, so I just made the first season an MS paint comic strip. Let's just say season 1 wasn't a success. I didn't give up though. On January 1, 2022, the first episode of season 2 released. I still didn't know how to animate. For about a year, the show went on hiatus, mainly to brainstorm ways I could vastly improve the series. Then, on March 1, 2023, I released my first animated episode. Sure, it sucked, but I was 13. 2023 is the year my show started to get pretty popular. 2024 came around. All of that motivation came to an end abruptly. I got seriously sick with pneumonia early this year. I started to lose subscribers, and I didn't want to do anything with the show anymore. I wanted to cancel it. That is, until this video came around. The final step really got to me. Even though I'm not 13 anymore, I still want to give this a shot again. You gave me the motivation I need to come back to my show. Thank you. You earned my subscription :)
With this is mind, hopefully i'll enter into the animation world one day I still need to no stress myself for not being able to draw correctly and not ran out of motivation in the middle of it Perhaps one day..... One day...... Anyways, love this video!
I've been trying to make my object show possible for a year, and its taking a while, i redesigned the characters, i made a new plot, tried a new artstyle, 2023 was a really hard year for me and everytime I tried to animate I just immediately lost my motivation. But now, in 2024, I think I improved. ALOT. I'm starting to make more detailed assets and backgrounds, I'm starting to ACTUALLY finish animations, I'm also practicing voice acting. Only 3 people are working on my object show with me. (My mom, me, and my aunt) and they really helped me a lot, they made some characters, gave me ideas, doing some voice acting, etc. They also gave me tips on what to do when writing the script or animating. I'm currently working on my script and it's been like 2 weeks now? Maybe 3? I don't know, but I'm almost done completing my object show. The last tip really helped me alot, I've always been scared sharing my animations in public, or just making any videos. But I really just want this object show to be possible. I don't know when episode 1 will release, but hopefully it's soon. It's kinda hard doing all of these because all the assets I made and the voice acting, animation, backgrounds, are ALL made in Flipaclip. I just recently started animating on Flipaclip back in 2022. And I learned a lot about the techniques, what to do and what not to do, etc. My profile was entirely made on Flipaclip, and one thing that bothers me is the flipaclip watermark, but I don't want to buy premium for that. All these tips were really useful, and I think it will make me improve when I'm making my show. I'm glad I came across this video, it really helped me alot. (I'd be really surprised if someone ACTUALLY read the whole thing.)
RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE YOUUUUUU/P (No but fr, im making an object show and I felt like I wasn't doing enough even though I haven't even posted the first episode, this vid helped a lot, have a great day!!)
The worst mistake is not being post split BFB If your object show isn't post split BFB, you might as well cancel it, cause post split BFB is the only good piece of media to ever exist
Hmm... Yeah now that i think about it i don't really think i can produce the show I'm planning alone... My voice does NOT match the voices I want for my characters at all lmao 😭 But i honestly wanna try... I still need to think more lol 😅
I checked out your channel, and I dig your videos! You definitely have a good sense for animation, the action scenes are very weighty! Plus you have me beat in terms of consistency. You've earned a sub! Excited to see where your channel goes!
I just write my own comics (for practicing writing) and i just dont know how i should make drama, if tou have any tips id love to hear it!! Already done 4 ep scripts out of around 20 but i have tried using a vote steal to later excuse the elimination of a future contestant, should i add more advantages like this?
What if all my friends don’t wanna (I don’t have a lot and none of them really know osc) and also i don’t wanna use discord bc dramas. How else could i collaborate with talented people?
Honestly confidence is like half and half for me I am confident making my joke shows cause i literally dont care how bad they are cause they are joke shows But then for my serious shows i have no confidence writing my scripts cause i cant purposely do bad on those and if im being honest i literally am horrible at writing scripts- So im very confident with my joke shows but i have little to no confidence for my serious shows It doesn't help that i always lack the motivation to work on them
ya , I have the second problem with my show because I am young and don't have time to do all the work on my show. and it's been 3 YEARS since I announced my show and all I have is some voice actors and some people willing to help but ya , I need to solve this
pb n gb mentioned?!! this video is really helpful to me as someone trying to create their own object show; i’ve recently taken a break from animating it though from lack of motivation , but i’ll keep working on it can you be my big sister please /silly /lh

And making my Object Show overall!
I think something important when making an object show is knowing your limits and what you want your show to be
For example I am not an animator, and I want to be a professional filmmaker one day
So I rely a lot on hired animators to make my show look good (while learning as I go)
And focus on making my show the highest quality it can be in every aspect
However if your vision is far more casual and simple then don't force yourself to do anything more
People should not force themselves to fit any type of mold just because "it will be better" or "It's what you're supposed to do"
Make what you want and know what you wanna make
My take on these
Uniqueness: Sure make some of your characters unique but honestly every personality has been done before
Burnout: I CAN MAKE A SHOW ALONE IF I WANT TO DUMMY
Appeal: Not every character has to look like Pink from Squares Mini Reboot
Believing in yourself / Confidence: I admit I have frowned upon myself but that’s just because I wish I could animate and not have every show on paper.

Believe it or not, I actually did read the whole thing! I'm excited to see how your show turns out!!
RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE YOUUUUUU/P
(No but fr, im making an object show and I felt like I wasn't doing enough even though I haven't even posted the first episode, this vid helped a lot, have a great day!!)
Was this all secretly a plug for your show The Broadcast Objective episode 5 coming soon?
i love the way you animate your character btw!!
I am making a 2nd object show and this actually helps. Thank you.
My host is gonna be a sketchbook named sketchy so their face is gonna be stop motion
The worst mistake is not being post split BFB
If your object show isn't post split BFB, you might as well cancel it, cause post split BFB is the only good piece of media to ever exist
COVET CONFLICT OMG
Nice animation style :D
Hmm... Yeah now that i think about it i don't really think i can produce the show I'm planning alone...
My voice does NOT match the voices I want for my characters at all lmao 😭
But i honestly wanna try... I still need to think more lol 😅
My cousin is making a show i forgor the name of, it has 6 episodes, i think !! 🤯 imma send him this :3
1:49 dOeS tHiS mEaN I gEt tO mAkE a bfdi NOOWW?!
I have an object show with a lot going on episodes, and I do NOT like it- well i do, but I don’t have confidence in them
I checked out your channel, and I dig your videos! You definitely have a good sense for animation, the action scenes are very weighty! Plus you have me beat in terms of consistency.
You've earned a sub! Excited to see where your channel goes!
@@thecascadecollection what-?? Thank you so much!!! I appreciate that, and I’ll also check out your videos too!!!
4:00 is mayonaise a possible way to make an object show?
No, StupidGuy_Pie, mayonnaise is not a possible way to make an object show.
I feel that someone will take that as a challenge.
You made that show I haven’t seen it in a long time
"If you can believe in you, if you can love you, then maybe everyone else can too."
This is not a how to cry tutorial.
I make them in real life for my own enjoyment 💀
sorry my object show died because it had cancer.
Pb and Gb mentioned
PB AND GB MENTION LETS GOOOOOOOOOO
Honestly confidence is like half and half for me
I am confident making my joke shows cause i literally dont care how bad they are cause they are joke shows
But then for my serious shows i have no confidence writing my scripts cause i cant purposely do bad on those and if im being honest i literally am horrible at writing scripts-
So im very confident with my joke shows but i have little to no confidence for my serious shows
It doesn't help that i always lack the motivation to work on them
Well Said!
Your animation movements remind me of animal crossing! Also, I'm 32 minutes late.
lol my object shows are a one man show because most of them are joke shows (and also it is EXTREMELY hard to find voice actors)
This is why all of my object shows are strictly written ones. :3
ya , I have the second problem with my show because I am young and don't have time to do all the work on my show. and it's been 3 YEARS since I announced my show and all I have is some voice actors and some people willing to help but ya , I need to solve this
Well, being young is something you see as a detriment, but it's your best assset! You have a whole life ahead of you to work on projects!
@@thecascadecollection thanks
i unfortunately am missing voice actors. if anyone would like to help then reply.
I always hate myself
👍
pb n gb mentioned?!! this video is really helpful to me as someone trying to create their own object show; i’ve recently taken a break from animating it though from lack of motivation , but i’ll keep working on it
can you be my big sister please /silly /lh
thank you so much.
i loove object shows
Thanks dude
Not trying to be rude but why does your oc move like a person in shipwreck 64
Yes
whyd the broadcast objective get cancelled?
@@jan_Eten it's cancelled? nobody told me.
@@thecascadecollection it said so in ðe description of ep 4 iirc
Beliving in myself is a very funny joke, like thats ever gonna happend :')
I used to think this way too. But I believe in you!
Ye, but in my opnion get people is the hardesr thing to get in a object show
how would you even find people to work on your show/ osc friends
If you're younger, I would say it may be best to avoid meeting friends online - it can be dangerous - and that school and extracurricular activities can be a good place to find friends. See if your school has an art club. You might find people who are interested!
This is cool
