  • 15 years ago I delivered this coach after 11 months restoration back to its original owner…. In fact this coach has never been assigned from its MSO (manufacturers sales order). So yes, it has never been titled to an owner!
    That’s not all, only 7000 miles from the restoration still there’s @80,000 on the odometer.
    If you remember, I named this coach “big dog”!
    If you’re serious about having a beautiful coach RIGHT NOW, not having to build it yourself……. Well brother here it is!
    Call me and I’ll get you in touch with Bill. This is a top shelf piece, understand you will NOT find a coach in this situation.

    In 2010 my dealership took in trade a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis with the "L" of "LS" missing. Of course, you have to buy the entire emblem to get one letter. So, I did, but I used another "S" and had a Grand Marquis "SS" for four years! Bought for $10,600 in 2010, sold for $10,000 in 2014. Well- built, just like the GMC motorhome.

    A real beauty and incredible restoration. Amazing to see the rust free undercarriage. I live in Illinois where salt and sodium cloride destroys everything under your vehicle. Plus, consider it's a "Texas" dry climate, garaged vehicle, can't beat that. This seems like it would have been a very expensive restoration, kudos to the owner for doing it the "right way" and not cutting corners.

    I would keep it in the family, especially the time and money restoring the RV. Would love to have it but it’s to old for my wife. Right now we have a high end newmar diesel pusher.

    Wow! A one owner from new! What a great family story! I love the stories that go along with cars, and in this case, motorhomes! These coaches become family, like a daughter. I really like this one, but I love mine (I'm sitting in my '73 Glacier now!

    These were a great idea, someone should build a modern version. Maybe a bit smaller with a Ford/Lincoln V8 FWD unit and do away with that transaxle.

    What transmission is in this? “Monster” you called it.
    I’d like to upgrade the motor/transmission in my ‘76

    ATF leaking out the pan gasket. Just like mine! Do they come any other way?

    • @motorhomerehabranch
      @motorhomerehabranch  2 месяца назад +1

      Sitting, the torque converter check valve leaks fluid back to the pan. Shifter arm seal, modulator seal and trans pan seal may leak. It’s spent the past 15 years parked up on the lift. I’m not surprised or worried

    Wow !!! That coach belongs in a museum...it would be a shame to use it for anything but display and maybe an occasional fair weather parade or show. Donate to a museum and deduct it from your taxes, please.

    • @motorhomerehabranch

      At this level it’s not about the price as much as the person. Yes, there is little to compare it to, so thinking about that…. I say again, make an offer
