Ta Hwan just do the right thing, he kill Wang Yoo to protect Yang Yi. In the Asia's history, an empress or any women in the palace could never ever ever have sexual relationship with other man. She just doesn't have the right to do that. If she does, then she will be kill ( not only her but also her family and her relatives, of course include "the man"). And of course Ta Hwan will never kill Yang Yi so he has to kill Wang Yoo so that Yang Yi will be safe. Ta Hwan is such a great lover. He forgave Yang Yi because he loves her too much:)))))

For me the actor Ji Chang Wook and his character as Emperor are the main reason why I watch this drama more than anything else , not exactly because of the story or how they ended up or who they ended up with.They're not to be blame but the writers,.The point is regardless of their role or character how they execute and acted their roles , if they're more convincing is far more important and that makes them a real actor,.Therefore ,in short!!! Ji Chang Wook really impressed me,very talented actor, so convincing, so real,.fit to be an emperor!!💋😘😍❤️💘
그거 골타가 왕 갈아치울라고 지창욱한테 계속 주던 탕약 있어요. 그 탕약의 미량의 독이 계속 몸에 쌓이던 중에 어느날부턴가 기침하면 피 나오고 탕약 먹으면 계속 잠만 오고 기억력에도 이상 생겨서 지창욱이 탕약그릇 깨뜨린 조각 손에 쥐고 약 먹고도 정신 안 잃으려고 하다가 골타가 배신할 계획이 있는걸 알고 일부러 하지원랑 아들 아유 지키려고 계속 몸에 독 쌓이게 자기희생 하면서 때를 노렸다가 황태후랑 골타랑 같이 저세상 보내버렸잖아요... 그때 저 탕약의 중독 조금이라도 늦추려고 기황후 편에 그, 태감인가 하는 사람이 독 중화시키는 다른 탕약 줬는데도 결국 골타랑 황태후 죽이고서는 피 토하면서 그때부터 심각하게 쇠약해지기 시작해서 결국 병상에서 하지원이 간호해주는데 자기 죽는거 알고 옛날 하지원 궁녀시절에 그랬던 거처럼 귀 만져줄 때 사랑한다 고백하고 하지원의 '저도 사랑합니다' 대답 들으면서 죽었어요...

전 타환이 양이의 마음에 아직도 왕유가 있다는 걸 알고 그 질투심으로 죽인 듯 싶네요. 솔직히 왕유도 양이를 위하기 때문에 입도 뻥긋 안 할 것 같고 그거 아는 사람 대부분이 죽었고 아이도 죽었는데 다 덮고 잊혀가는 걸로 굳이 죽일 필요가 있을까요? 그것도 한 나라의 왕을, 명분도 충분치 않은데 말이죠. 저건 그냥 질투에 눈이 멀었다고 할 수 밖에 없을 듯요....

Take a second to think about what time this drama takes place. It's an easy choice for the emperor . Either WY dies or risking SNs secret getting revealed and her being beheaded. Even though he's Cray Cray he only protects her. She is the one to make him feel insecure in the first place and then discovering her having a child with WY is just another blow. Getting drugged by someone youve considered loyal doesn't help either .
Bao Nguyen Ta Hwan was insecure as heck already even in the beginning of the drama. Seung Nyang has nothing to do with it. Why don't you go watch the drama from the beginning to see my point here. When he was exiled in Goryeo, he was so envious of Wang Yoo because he had so many loyal men around him that we're willing to risk and give their lives for him while all of Ta Hwan's people wants to kill him. Then he came back to the Empire but couldn't even rule because he was an illiterate,a coward,childish puppet under El Temurs control. When Seung Nyang came back as a consort they had an agreement that both of them agreed upon. He will help her avenge the death of her love ones in exchange of helping him be a worthy Emperor and eliminate El Temur and his clan. She always encourage and support him in all his endeavor. They both achieved their goals. Seung Nyang laid the ground work,Ta Hwan just reaps the benefits. Seung Nyang is the brain and Ta Hwan is the.. well..the dude that stamp the seal. LOL.. For awhile,i really thought that Ta Hwan changed but obviously i was wrong,See the latest episodes. He couldn't even defend the woman that he loves and his child. My point here is,Insecurity is a choice. He could have been happy and had a heart to heart talk with Seung Nyang but he opted to be a miserable drunkard. Tragic story indeed.

Ikr, Aww so sad about WY. I went to several forums and wow the hate towards paeha right now is jst so much mate and I get it. Killing WY was stupid and I think the writers were being too lazy about this whole plot bcos to me it seems they took the easy way out to solve the this, I'd have preferred for golta and ED's men to arrive, attack paeha which would lead to both of them fighting together and then WY dieing, that would have been a much better ending for him. It was so very sad how he was jst willing to die to save nyang. However to be fair to tahwan, in his mind, he's protecting nyangie. You know we viewers watch this dramas and analyse it with the 21st century mentality but back in the day, the emperor's woman was expected to be a virgin and if she's had relations with any other man, is seen as treason and course for either banishment or beheading. In nyang's case if it does get out not even tahwan will be able to save her as it was the law which means she' d be dethroned and beheaded. I personally would have preferred if WY' s men were killed bcos they kept blabbing about the whole thing all the effing time. Because no matter how many times you cover the truth with a crime, the secret will always come out. Look at what happen to Tanashili trying to cover the secret about "Maha's identity" to everyone, eventually, Yang's found that out since the nun reveal it. So if you're asked? What will you do? and not to mention, the time/era occured that killing is not illegal😌 If the person/people who knew about the secret is dead, who would even share/tell it to another?🤷♀️

Why everyone hating the emperor? I mean in the real historical story such one called Koryo King didn't exist! Writers just created that character because this drama will be aired in Korea! In real life such a thing didn't happen!

Take a second to think about what time this drama takes place. It's an easy choice for the emperor . Either WY dies or risking SNs secret getting revealed and her being beheaded. Even though he's Cray Cray he only protects her. She is the one to make him feel insecure in the first place and then discovering her having a child with WY is just another blow. Getting drugged by someone youve considered loyal doesn't help either .
Bao Nguyen Ta Hwan was insecure as heck already even in the beginning of the drama. Seung Nyang has nothing to do with it. Why don't you go watch the drama from the beginning to see my point here. When he was exiled in Goryeo, he was so envious of Wang Yoo because he had so many loyal men around him that we're willing to risk and give their lives for him while all of Ta Hwan's people wants to kill him. Then he came back to the Empire but couldn't even rule because he was an illiterate,a coward,childish puppet under El Temurs control. When Seung Nyang came back as a consort they had an agreement that both of them agreed upon. He will help her avenge the death of her love ones in exchange of helping him be a worthy Emperor and eliminate El Temur and his clan. She always encourage and support him in all his endeavor. They both achieved their goals. Seung Nyang laid the ground work,Ta Hwan just reaps the benefits. Seung Nyang is the brain and Ta Hwan is the.. well..the dude that stamp the seal. LOL.. For awhile,i really thought that Ta Hwan changed but obviously i was wrong,See the latest episodes. He couldn't even defend the woman that he loves and his child. My point here is,Insecurity is a choice. He could have been happy and had a heart to heart talk with Seung Nyang but he opted to be a miserable drunkard. Tragic story indeed.

Ikr, Aww so sad about WY. I went to several forums and wow the hate towards paeha right now is jst so much mate and I get it. Killing WY was stupid and I think the writers were being too lazy about this whole plot bcos to me it seems they took the easy way out to solve the this, I'd have preferred for golta and ED's men to arrive, attack paeha which would lead to both of them fighting together and then WY dieing, that would have been a much better ending for him. It was so very sad how he was jst willing to die to save nyang. However to be fair to tahwan, in his mind, he's protecting nyangie. You know we viewers watch this dramas and analyse it with the 21st century mentality but back in the day, the emperor's woman was expected to be a virgin and if she's had relations with any other man, is seen as treason and course for either banishment or beheading. In nyang's case if it does get out not even tahwan will be able to save her as it was the law which means she' d be dethroned and beheaded. I personally would have preferred if WY' s men were killed bcos they kept blabbing about the whole thing all the effing time. It was so annoying bcos WY would have taken the secret to the grave and now it seems tahwan is dieing as well 😭😭😖😭😭

Specially they thought Yang loved WY til the very end and not the emperor. But if you're in Tahwan's POV, that is the only choice he can do to protect his Empress. Because no matter how many times you cover the truth with a crime, the secret will always come out. Look at what happen to Tanashili trying to cover the secret about "Maha's identity" to everyone, eventually, Yang's found that out since the nun reveal it. So if you're asked? What will you do? and not to mention, the time/era occured that killing is not illegal😌 If the person/people who knew about the secret is dead, who would even share/tell it to another?🤷♀️
Of course the emperor found out that Yangi is not virgin anymore but he accepted the fact and this proved that he loves Yangi so much
