If you liked this demonstration you should sign up for a training class with Refuge medical training. This isn't even the tip of the iceberg. This guy and the other instructors do an amazing job.
On the abd pads, the blue line also signals the waterproof side. When applying that as a covering dressing, keep the blue lined side out for best control of the drainage. Also try not to cut these as they are full of cotton like fluff, which is a pain to clean out of the wound bed later if the covering has been cut open.
