    You should put moisturizer before greese because afterwards it wont let moisturizer in. Also greese is bad for you scalp because it *doesnt let moisturizer in, plus its hard to get out.
    Its good for define but bad for everything else. The only way to get it out is by alot of conditioning your hair

    Will this product promote hair growth if used daily (months, years, etc?)

    • @SimplyRaquel
      @SimplyRaquel  4 года назад +8

      ivy hmm if you use this product as a sealant (Meaning using with at least a leave in conditioner before) it would definitely lock in moisture which leads to hair growth.

    • @SterlingSMtr
      @SterlingSMtr 4 года назад +11

      your hair is always growing (how much depends on genetics and care) . It's a matter of breakage at the ends that make it appear to be stunted. If you are eating properly, drinking water, vitamins, exercise those things help promote healthy their hair growth. Pertaining to the grease- It will act like a sealant to lock in moisture. *water *leave in conditioner
      So that your hair doesn't dry out. No drying out = less breakage. Trim when needed. Little manipulation, protective hairstyles and bonnet at night. All these things helps.
      Lastly if you are going to use grease in your hair make sure to use a sulfate shampoo at the least once a month to give your hair a "restart".
      Let me add- Age may*** play a roll and medications may*** play a roll. Not properly taking care of hair when adding chemicals or heat.
      Somethings can be trial and error if not "gifted with the ease of hair" that just does what it needs to do...

    • @giyann1278

      Sterling S Mtr I remember before I damaged my hair my mom told me as a child my hair was really thick and was maybe more than 12 inches. Just like hers (her hair is about 22 inches at most when stretched), now my hair is up to my collarbone because I cut it..I think I can try to grow it back like that since it used to be like that.

    • @SterlingSMtr
      @SterlingSMtr 4 года назад +6

      @@giyann1278 maybe we need to force our moms just to do our hair again! 🤣 Suggestion - maybe log what you use, how your hair feels- What's making a noticeable difference. I feel into the "trap" Of switching to too many different products. Now I use the same products every week or two or three. Shampoo, conditioner, deep c, leave in, grease. Once a month detox my hair. It's been doing great.
      Braiding my hair and leaving it.
      Lastly let me add though - Our hair texture/ thickness CAN change over time.
      My sons changed 3 times while under the age of 10.
