If you did a two strand twist theot would give you some wavy curls but blue magic is extremely greasy. Your hair does look very nice and you can get a few styles out of that one. Well done

You should put moisturizer before greese because afterwards it wont let moisturizer in. Also greese is bad for you scalp because it *doesnt let moisturizer in, plus its hard to get out. Its good for define but bad for everything else. The only way to get it out is by alot of conditioning your hair

If you are eating properly, drinking water, vitamins, exercise those things help promote healthy their hair growth. Pertaining to the grease- It will act like a sealant to lock in moisture. *water *leave in conditioner So that your hair doesn't dry out. No drying out = less breakage. Trim when needed. Little manipulation, protective hairstyles and bonnet at night. All these things helps. Lastly if you are going to use grease in your hair make sure to use a sulfate shampoo at the least once a month to give your hair a "restart". Let me add- Age may*** play a roll and medications may*** play a roll. Not properly taking care of hair when adding chemicals or heat. Sterling S Mtr I remember before I damaged my hair my mom told me as a child my hair was really thick and was maybe more than 12 inches. Just like hers (her hair is about 22 inches at most when stretched), now my hair is up to my collarbone because I cut it..I think I can try to grow it back like that since it used to be like that.

I feel into the "trap" Of switching to too many different products. Now I use the same products every week or two or three. Shampoo, conditioner, deep c, leave in, grease. Once a month detox my hair. It's been doing great. Braiding my hair and leaving it. Lastly let me add though - Our hair texture/ thickness CAN change over time. My sons changed 3 times while under the age of 10.
Sterling S Mtr i think my ‘secret’ trick to growth was just leaving my hair alone. My mom would be so lazy she’d keep in a braided for 3-5 weeks at most. But I’m really open to new techniques, I’ve gotten myself used to aloe vera for about a year. Thanks for the advice!!
well not daily because of build up but it’s okay to use on the scalp , especially the organics line that has things in it like tea leaves , aloe vera, shea butter and some oils

The grease make sure nothing gets in (its a sealant). The grease locked in the water & leave in conditioner she put in her hair. The gel will not penetrate the hair because the grease protecting her hair from the gel.
It is too much. It should not sit on top of the hair like that. Try putting a pea size in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together then rub on your hair. It should leave a light sheen. You shouldn't have to remove any excess. I've used it for forty plus years.
its the fact that when she wet her hair again to take off some of the grease, it actually looked even better....
Yes!! it actually lasted about 5 days, Day 3 it actually wasn't that greasy.

I use it on my scalp when I have braids. But I wouldn’t use it daily it would create TONS of product buildup.
