If a wearer has no Cosmo then the armor is useless. The armor weight is very heavy and if the person wielding the armor is not focused with his/her Cosmo they won't be able to literally stand up on their feet. A person is as powerful even without their armor as how the manga and the anime demonstrates in many fighits, Saints faced with and without their armors.
