Here is a card trick that is fun and perfect for the card reader. This is nothing that would be useful in a real reading. Just a fun card trick for grins.

If u want to get fancy you can have your stacked deck larger than the other half and do a bridge shuffle...as long as your deck with the lesser amount of cards hits the table first you should always still have you 4 cards on top...cut it again making sure your top deck is larger n do this a few times an the on looker will think it has been shuffled

You can explain what each card means in general as they are revealed. Then ask the seeker to put them in the order of most importance to them and that will give you a sense of what area to focus on in the reading. Of course, you can just ask them, too.
