I am a small operation like you also own kubota equipment recently saw your hay balling video. You were asking people to comment about what equipment changes to make to help speed things up.I know money is hard to come by but a used round baler would be my choice. No more picking up square bales ,use a hay speer for round bales save your back, we're not getting any younger
Thanks for commenting! It would 100% - without a doubt - be my choice too if we didn't sell 75% of our hay. Around here, small homesteads are getting more and more popular and they don't have large tractors and such to move round bales. Not to mention, square bales sell for a lot more per pound (but obviously require a lot more work)

Also, to add to that, I am sure round bales will be in our future at some point as we age and whatnot
I have a Vermeer 403f and make 40" round bales. Much lighter & can fit 2 in someone's pickup. They sell well here to the small homestead folks here.
