Hello, Plz help me. I'm going to buy a used 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid with 110,000 miles on it. How can I make sure that currently there is no problem with the battery? If I bring it to Toyota dealer, are they able to evaluate the battery's health issue?
The screen inside the car will show you how good the battery is working. As you drive the car look on the screen to see if the charging is working. You can take it to a dealer or take it to a person that fixes the battery. We have two hybrid and the other car has 197,000 and the battery is still ok. The big battery with the cells.
I looked on Craigslist and found a person. Replaced two cells$550 with 6 months guaranteed. Be sure the person checks all your cells and show’s you which ones are good and which ones are bad. Also ask how old the ones they are putting in because they get them from wreaked cars.
I have a question! So my Toyota Camry hybrid turns on but when I drive a certain mileage the gas stops working so I’m not able to drive it. I have to turn it off and turn it on so I can run again what could that be? We just payed $350 to replace the battery in the trunk
You sure its not the e mode kicking on to save gas? I know when I first got my car that happened and I got scared but if you press the gas and keep.driving the car engine turns on by itself
Sorry, I have not experienced that problem. Sounds like something needs to be reset and when you turn it off and them back on and it works it is resetting something. What that something is I don't know. Sorry
If you need to test the 12v battery,do you test with a multi meter just like a regular combustion engine battery or it’s different, because it’s a hybrid ?
Hello . I have one of these as well . My car tested for 2 bad cells . It’d die randomly after awhile . One day we started it and it died 30 seconds later and won’t start back up now . Do you think it’s the bad cells and the actual battery keeping it from starting ? Thanks . Also I have weird noises when it did crank over like the transmission or something .
Mine shows 13.6 but always receive this message "low battery, shift your car to parking " when i switch to mode drive. Before that i have abs brake problem wich is don't already solved. Can somebody can help please ?
Hello before I bought my car I took it to the dealer and they checked it for me $40. All was ok but within 2 years I did have 2 cells go bad, cost $500. Double checked all other cells at that time and all were good. Check the manual of how to check the cells from the screen. I am unable to do research on how to do that because I no longer have the car. I did buy another hybrid because I liked my car.
When you say regular is it a hybrid regular battery? The hybrid 12volt is not just a regular battery it is special and that's why I would go to the dealer.
How do we see the energy monitor cycle (like in Prius), I couldn’t find the menu options for that? I wanna see the main hybrid battery health. Thanks you in advance 😊
Hello, I don't have the vehicle any longer so I am not able to research that for you, sorry. When I sold my car it had over 208,000 miles and still running great (I maintained it at every interval). The air conditioner was not working and the condenser under the dash had a leak and the cost was $2,100 from the dealer. Be sure the air conditioner works before buying one. Turn the air fully on, then heat fully on then air. Listen under the hood that the compressor is kicking in each time.
You probably dont care at all but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Allan Jamal Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
When buying a used hybrid car, you can have the battery checked. A dealer can do this. But first at least check the display in the car itself. Go to the info display and go to the screen that displays the status of the battery. Also drive the car with the energy process working and see if that is working correctly. To replace the main cell battery is expensive $3000-5000. It is not good for a hybrid car to sit and not be driven. The more you drive it the better. That’s why taxi hybrids are getting 300,000+ miles out of a battery.
confusing video, about the screen readouts, push what button 3 times did you drop the camera, view too far away and too fast for readouts, do this do that, there... 11.8v on screen indicates full charge, I thought it was dead.
im thinking he should have said “switch the lights on and off 3 times” instead of “push”. i was confused for a second too but from the sounds that were made, im assuming he switched them on and off
@@YouTAbu same here, just replaced our camry 10 the 12 v panasonic battery last month , with a 2009 date on it . That old battery lasted with us almost 12 years. Bought the new panasonic one @ the dealer for $315 + tax = $349. I changed the battery myself.
