Great show as always, gents! $25 for BLUEY? OMG, REALLY? No way....there's not much on the RSDBF list that is making me excited. Maybe the Christopher Cross christmas album, and the Carl Stalling Project, which I have on Cassette, but I'd rather have it on CD than vinyl, so I"m not sure about it. Maybe I'll find a couple more titles eventually....but not much right now, just like last years' BF list.
I find I've had to come up with a new way of evaluating the RSD lists - I get too much FOMO from having all the potentially tasty items out at once. But I also think, 'my god another s**tload of reissues - barf'. The way I have to deal with this is to imagine there was a new LP by a cool up and coming band (or an older favourite) coming out that week and that I'd be forced to choose - - which would I buy? More often than not, I'd go for the new LP (thrill of the new, eh?) so more and more I tend to find the RSD lists, especially the Black Friday ones, just a bit, well, safe and dull. Some good(ish) stuff, but nothing that would make my top 500 bands....Or perhaps I am just too old and cynical. shrug.
@@RadioWastelandRecords Yep, both RSD proper and the BF. I found the 2023 RSD list just exhausting - bought a lot, but don't play any of it any more. Bit telling, I guess. Either that or i just buy too many LPs...
If you want a cool band check out the Warning rock power trio. They have a worldwide following. Who knows you might like their music. You can find them here on RUclips.

It’s Bluey TC and those record companies know grandparents pay big bucks for crazy stuff!
