Thank you for reaching out ..The pedals have a rubberized lip on them that flexes then once over the metal extension arm of the pedal rebound back into a position that locks them in place. You have to remove the original rubber pedals off the extension arm of the pedal on the car (they pop off easily when rocked back and forth as they use the same rubberized lip system to hold them in place).
