When I was a little girl my great grandmother would order this dish from the Chinese food restaurant in the mall. Back then they had real sit down family style restaurants. This was her absolute favorite thing to eat. Thank you for sharing this I’m going to make this in honor of her🥰

Gambo always has to add just a little more cornstarch to the marinade! Lol I've learned a LOT from you and a couple others to make my own little recipes man. I get HUGE compliments on my stir fry and it's largely because of you so thanks a lot for that and keep it up!!

I missed that too Ayesha....its the 1st time he'd used it in the number of dishes he has made. I have to listen close because to can't pronounce oyster & hoisin sauce real good & it looks the same. 😂
It was black bean sauce. Later on he added some oyster sauce. The wine is Chinese cooking wine. They have a clear one and a darker one, use the darker one because it has a better flavor.
Almost perfect ! The only problem I had was at the end he added way to much CORN STARTCH it made the dish to thick or heavy , if he just added 3 or 4 tablespoons of water then it would be perfect , other wise it looked month watering

can you explain the egg..i notice some dishes u mix the egg in with the beef chicken sometimes u dont?
I spoke with gambo and he said that stir fry typically use egg to make a coating for the meat to seal the juices and flavor

Tried It And It Was Wonderful Except That My Tomatoes Reduced To Nothing During The Stir Fry...What Did I Do Wrong?
